[QUOTE="Vandalvideo"][QUOTE="deangallop"]What makes you think those are skewed numbers, their accurate almost to the point ( the website refreshes often). Your in denial, and the funny thing is that's only one torrent. There are plenty with high seed counts. Gears of war PC has plenty of total downloads and so does Call of Duty 4. Company's are losing big money, if your too dense to see that then whatever, go live in your fairy world.deangallop
There are tons of ways to skew numbers for torrents. They mainly do it for traffic. People see a tracker that has so much more than the others and they get more hits. Its like putting up an ad saying "HEY, I HAVE A WORLD EXCLUSIVE TRAILER OF GTA!". Add on the fact that the next tracker behind that only has 50 seeds. Theres something seriously wrong here. Not only that, but EA says the sales are fine, and have no intention to port it to consoles. Companies are not losing big money from piracy, the PC has the MOST announced exclusives, and it doesn't look to be changing anytime soon. GO live in your fairy world.Yeah, I see a ton of torrents with 1000+ seeds. You don't know what your talking about. You should just keep going on like piracy isn't a problem. If I can't convice you that piracy is a huge problem with a link that proves that piracy is out of control than I don't think anybody can, so I'm done with this argument.
Nvidia and Intel are funding PC gaming cause otherwise without any games none will buy their high end parts that make more money for them...
You cant pirate an 8800GT even if you download Crysis EA-Crytek are still getting your money...
So Piracy will be battled on hardware level...much more effectivly than the preowned industry thats costing the console industry 1bil every freaking year...not to mention all the flashed consoles that pirates dont even need internet connection to steal games just rent copy and play....
