I'm a hermit but I damn well respect other people's preferences in gaming because everyone has different tastes.

All I'll say now is that it doesn't matter what platform you have. It's just as long as you're happy with what you got.

It's as though they can't imagine that someone would try PC gaming and decide it wasn't for them, or that their preferences would change after years as a PC gamer (as mine did).

this has caused many lengthy arguments over the past several months and there's really been no reason for it. this is a video game website. it covers console games and pc games. the title of the forum is system wars...not console wars. the pc has just as much right to be included as any console. because this forum was designed with the intention of including the pc, saying otherwise could count as trolling or even off topic posting and you can be moderated for such. it's no different than going to one of the system specific forums and saying that that particular system shouldn't count.

Actually im wondering when will this kind of thread stop. Every day, every single day, consolites post threads such as this. PC gaming is dying threads, Console vs PC thread, (thats 3 vs 1 ), MGS4 best graphics ever threads, build me a PC for $500 dollars threads. Then we have the hundreds of other threads about graphics between PS3 and 360, threads about how kiddie wii is. etc etc etc

It seems when a PC gamer defends his system in any of the many anti PC threads, defends it using facts, he is arrogant. Should we just sit back and take the abuse and not stand up for what we believe and know to be true? would a PS3 owner do that in an anti PS3 thread?

I'm sick and tired of system wars quickly becoming PC vs Console Wars. When it suits you, you consolites use all 3 consoles to battle PC, whether you own them or not. Then call PC gamers arrogant when they prove you wrong.

The reason people put their PC specs in their sig is because they also post on PC forums, and it's easier to list your specs in your sig than to manually type them out everytime someone asks you or when you're looking for an answer to something. It's not something I personally do, but it's perfectly understandable why someone would because people constantly ask what your specs are on those forums.

When you list what games you're playing in your sig, you're assuming that people care to know, for whatever particular reason. It's the same thing.

Is there not a place for PC guys to brag to each other about the rigs they run? Because seriously, bragging about it here is like going to the Ford website and laughing at them because you own a BMW.

I don't understand either attacking or defending PC here. PC freaking rocks. I wish I had the patience to deal with the downsides in order to get all the advantages.

I love PC gaming and my lazy ass consolite solution is just to play games a year and a half after all the guys on the bleeding edge of technology do.
