Where are the Microsoft exclusives?

There are way worse level 1's out there he could have been one of those terrible PS3 vs. 360 threads.

They've been putting all of their time and hype into Kinect and in preparing for its launch, which they are treating as a new system. You really have to count the Kinect games but, considering how terrible they are I think most people would rather forget them.

Well it could be a PC can't do HD thread :)

TC, he terms Microsoft exclusive, Sony exclusive and Nintendo exclusive aren't used in System Wars. And Fable 3 isn't an exclusive anyway.

Kind of sad, Move's games actually look pretty good and tend to be mentioned in an ironic twist.

Hey, at least they have multiplats. Thats what PS3 had back in 2007 aside from Uncharted and GT: Prologue, so I guess MS had to suffer froma similar drought one year.

MS's first party is nearly non existent compared to Sony and Nintendo so that's why they don't get many exclusives

As far as I understand, the audience Kinect is marketed towards love the games that will be coming out for it. Easy to pick up and play and easy to set down. It will be a great device for drawing in children and then keeping them interested in the library the 360 offers.

Exactly why people here are so reluctant to mention them, Kinect's strategy is basically "do what Nintendo did 4 years ago, but with an advanced Eyetoy" isn't the best strategy. Even though Move is basically a comfortable Wii Motion Plus, at least Move is catered for casual AND hardcore, with games like SOCOM 4 and KZ3 being Move compatible while Kinect is stuck with games like Kinectimals.

The games Kinect offer have no use in a Hardcore player's house and only serve to get soccer moms in to buying 360's instead of Wii's, there is no incentive to apply Kinect to the existing Xbox audience and offer unique ways to use it in exclusives.

Exactly, I know it will have some applications down the line but right now its a joke. At 2009 they promised it would revolutionize how you play games and you had Peter Molynueax promising you could play Fable III with it and stuff. While I believe there are a few fun games you could play with it (such as Burnout), Kinect sucked resources from MS and came up with a bunch of crappy games and a peripheral that costs almost as much as an entire Wii and the only moderately fun games (such as Metal Gear SolidL Rising) for it aren't due until half a year or so after release.

Right now I don't think Kinect is something that would be too useful for people who spend all of their time playing Halo and Bad Company 2.

Also, Justin Bieber is advertising the game. Nothing against the kid, but the people who listen to his music don't consist promarily of 12-40 year old males who enjoy spending all of their time gaming.

That's exactly what they're doing by devoting 3/4 of an E3 press conference to Skittles and the like.

Alternatively, they're completely disregarding their current base, which is frankly, just as bad.

There's nothing wrong with people writing it off as a gimmick right now, when right now it is nothing more than a gimmick.
