Whichever online retailer has the game in question the cheapest, or has the best deal. Usually Play.com, GAME or Shopto.net.

Mostly nowadays from Steam, some from Ebay... or sometimes from the bargain bin of Walmart or Future Shop (Best Buy)... I buy from EB Games (Gamestop) if its a release that I care about and want it the MINUTE its available.... ie: I have LA Noire, Zelda OoT and Duke Nukem Forever on preorder there atm.

All my recent purchases have been on Steam, sans Fallout New Vegas that got a permanent discount at Gamestop to $20 but still full price everywhere else. I like how my whole collection is all in one convenient place, complete with automatic patching and everything else that Steam does.

Buy from my local game, gamestation or HMV (Hmv really competes round here considering the indie music shop is immense and HMV has bucked up and got in a lot of upcoming artists cds and games wise its always warring with game across the road).

Altho i have taken to Amazon a lot recently.

I never buy anything from EB, even if I really want it, wait 2 weeks is better than waste an extra $40.

Steam, occasionally D2D.

On console, the place that has a cheap second hand version. Console games are a rip off right now.

Gamestop/Best Buy if it's a game that I want the moment it comes out for release. All others come from Amazon most of the time.

Steam, I always know that they'll have a game in stock and I feel that it is more convenient.
