Where do you want the next AC to be and what changes do you want? (56k)

Yeah we've had this thread before but with III out and Brazil not appearing to be the next setting, where would you want the next one to be?

And what changes would you like it to have from the previous games?

(To make it SW worthy, why get the games on the consoles when the PC versions are always better?)

I still think an Asian setting would be great. With a bigger emphasis on stealth and even more options for your homestead, and please, more development time to iron out the bugs.

The AC director said Feudal Japan would be boring......I dont even know what to say to that, Japan would be by far my #1 choice.

But the biggest thing they need to do is stop yearly releasing it, you are wearing everyone out, and AC3 was really buggy, come out every 2 years and make sure the game is polished up for starters.

set in medevil China, with the former concubine turned Assassin - who happens to be female - who is rebuilding her order.

I think you could do a lot with it. have it start right as she returns to China and starts to carefully rebuild, then loop in some conspiracy with the Templars.

I'd love a samurai assassin. Although the games don't have assassins anymore...just one man armies.

There's plenty of things I would change, but I think if they get rid of 1-year installments, Ubisoft could figure the rest out on their own.

Don't read if you havnt got past playing your father on AC3.

I would like to see one set in Brtiain playing as your Father Haytham, showing how the Assassin bloodline had a templar in it, and you get to do Templar stuff and missions. Be pretty cool.

Only rumour with some credibility I have heard is Brazil. It makes some sense for AC3.5 imo. I mean the rainforest (aka more frontier), coastline (aka more naval) and Connor can visit some other indian tribes. Also they don't want to waste the big settings (French revolution, Victorian England etc) on a middle game. So my bet is AC3: Juego Bonito in 2013.

The pics posted are very cool and I have no doubt Ubi could make an awesom feudal Japan game. What they haven't proven is that they can make good gameplay. Therefor my biggest wish for future games is that they really, really push the gameplay! And in relation to that, open up the mission design and give the player choice how to approach them.

Asia for sure. Feudal Japan or the era of the Chinese dynasties would be interesting. Although the series really needs to revamp the core gameplay before any change of setting does any good.

They need to change way more than just the setting before I look at getting another AC game.

No, no prequels. The last thing we need is a AC prequel. Prequels, reboots and similar crap are way too popular nowadays.

Well, I just couldn't imagine a Native American having a major part in, e.g. the fall of Bastille. It's like you put a Brazillian dude in feudal Japan and make him do all the ninja/samurai stuff.
