Feudal Japan, but since AC isn't going to do it, the series can rot for all I care.

How about a throwback? Ac set during the rise of the Roman Empire would be interesting, maybe even an AC game set back farther during the Persian wars. If they wanted it to make sense chronologically, I suppose the civil war could be interesting, but I would be incredibly excited to see AC take place during the boxer rebellions.slugger909

They need to get rid of guns in the game. Set the game wayyyyy back in the roman times. Or maybe even sumeria or whatever

Yeah, but he isn't French. When it comes to American independance war it does make sense giving a major role to a Native American dude and having European characters as major supporting roles considering European colonization of North America.

It would just feel silly having an American dude jumping around France making him a major character during French Revolution.

China/Eastern Asia would be my preference. Not to sure about Japan but it could work

Actually make the game about stealth as opposed to flashy Assassinations.

Some of the AC3 assassinations were downright ridicoulus, unless i've misinterpreted what an Assassins's designated job entails im pretty sure an Assassination that involves said Assassin jumping from a building to kill a target giving a speech right before he's about to kill the listeners while surrounded by enemy soldiers looking directly at him is simply ridicoulus. The idea of an Assassin usually involves hidden kills or stealthy kills.

Isn't that kinda like Ezio when he went to Constantinople? It just makes more sense for them to make another Connor game because alot of people seem to like him, and it makes sense for him to go to the French Revolution because he's friends with Lafayette and Lafayette could just request that he comes and helps the French.

if i could have my way I'd like the gameplay totally reworked so its actually a stealth game, throw the animus stuff/modern day story out the window and place all of the emphasis on sneaking/parkour with a much less intrusive HUD.

Only thing I'd keep would be the detailed open-world settings and the animations.

Ancient Egypt in my opinion. Too many historical characters/battles/stories from that era that are still regularly talked about today would make for a fantastic Assasins Creed game.

maybe because playing as ninja & samurai doing acrobatic moves on rooftop is far more convincing than playing a brunch of out of shape mid aged Pleasants or a clueless teenage(Desmond) able to climbing walls and buildings without dedicated physical training?

oh speaking of faction characters, at least seeing ninja climbing walls won't be as stupid as seeing Eizo's uncle do it.

BTW: TC, those concept arts looks sick, never thought about to have AC in Asian settings, but now I only want AC4 to be in China/Japan or exactly the setting in your screens.

Though I suspect I'll be completely alone in this, victorian london wouldn't be a bad setting I feel. And hell, why not have a mission based around killing a monarch.

I never made it to that part (is that in ACII or the expansions?), but that feels way more natural than an American having a major part in French revolution. The Ottoman Empire borders were pretty much close to Italy.

I guess that the French setting would be a great way to introduce a female Assassin. Jeanne d'Arc could be an awesome main character, although she died much before the French revolution. Nevertheless, the French-English "hundred years' war" is a pretty cool setting for AC.
