Where was the Gamecube hate last gen?

Wasn't the Gamecube bashed? Anyway, that was last gen. :PJandurin

So why wasn't the Gamecube bashed to hell and back like the PS3 is this generation?

I want to hear some good reasons.

1. The promises and ridiculous claims that were not met

All I know is that the GC is much better than the Wii. It had better games, real games, a better contoroller, and better 3rd party games. Shame it didnt sell more

The Wii is terrible compared to the past 3 Nintendo systems(SNES, 64, GC). Just utterly terrible.

the gamecube wasn't hated last gen because it hardly ever did anything wrong to us. We got two zelda games, mario sunshine, two metroid games, and new series like pikmin, how could you complain back then? I mean, you probly didn't spend that much for it anyway.

So I think that the PS3 is hated because it's so darn expensive, great games for it are being shot at ( Gran Tourismo 5... Prolouge??? AND Killzone 2's release date was up in the air for, well who knows how long!) Also, the PS3's online is three floors away from Microsoft's Live " sky deck" in the hotel of online fun. Wow, best example ever.

To tell you the truth, I'd rather play a Gamecube than a PS3 anyday. But I do have appreciation to the console, it's just a little... mehh.
