Where's all the sweet BF3 multiplayer footage?

E3 has come and gone, and I feel like all we got was a 50 second MP trailer.

Where's all the footage? Even the off screen stuff I found was low quality.

I want the game, but I want to see more and I'm surprised there is little MP stuff from E3, mainly because MW2.1 looks the same... exactly the same. I'm not gonna buy that again.

Yeah it gets me worried cause BF is all about the MP but they seem only content in showing us SP

It's called "Hyping". They all ready confirmed an open beta in september for every platform.They're proud of what they have and that shows by letting everyone play themultiplayer before release. Since they call it a beta it allows them a disclaimer to fix some stuff but it's basically a mp demo to get people more interested. They need the suspence to kill everyone right now. That wayby the time the beta comes out everyone and their mothers will try it.......fall in love.........and pre-order.

Not to be paranoid but maybe they didn't show off a whole lot because of Call of Duty?

If they presented some cool tricks and features, Infinity Ward could easily have stolen bits and bobs and implemented them into MW3.

No, that is a form of hyping. Just because it's not a massive media hype doesn't mean it's not hyping.....They know what they are doing and they know we want more.

BC1, BC2 and MOH had open betas, and I bet MOH LE will grant you early access like when you got BC2 you got early access to the MOH beta.

Evidently they count on fans buying the game regardless of anything, so for much of their marketing they'll ignore us and focus on capturing other audiences. Really annoying and disappointing.

EA not providing any MP footage to the media at all strikes me as odd. They obviously thought the game was in a complete enough state to show off to hundreds of people at E3.
