Batman AC, i will probably get SS but I'm not that excited for it and i hate the Assassin's creed series.
Batman AC, by a long margin. :)
i probably won't even be buying the other two, never really been a fan of Assassins Creed.
Assassin's Creed II and Arkham Asylum were my two favourite games of 2009, so I am very excited to play them both. I don't have a Wii, so I can't comment on Zelda.
I will be getting both Skyward Sword and Batman, on day 1. But I am looking forward to Skyward Sword more.
Play the same old boring Zelda formula, or play as Batman in an open city? Thanks, I'll take Batman any day of the week. Probably end up renting SS and AC eventually. Rekunta
You do realize they are shaking up the formula in Skyward Sword? Dungeons in the new Zelda for instance will be a lot more open ended. Some wont even feature bosses. The game will also focus less on dungeons and more on the open world and side quests.
Skyward Sword is a first-day buy. I love Zelda (loved TP, only 3D Zelda I beat so far and did it twice) and fancy myself a collector (more so than player, lol). I gave up on AC after II's god-awful ending. And Arkham City is going to be a first-day, depending on my finances when it comes out. My girlfriend loved the first game (watching me play it) and wants me to get the second. I loved it too... I just didn't feel like it was worth $60, which is why I waited until it was $15. But we'll see. I hope to get a new job in the near future that pays more than what I make now, so I can actually start saving some money to spend on luxuries.

As I've heard. I'll have to see, from the looks of all I've seen I'm not that impressed at all. I'll still play it no doubt, but as I said it will probably be a rental.
Easily and by far Zelda, in fact the other 2 aren't even on my radar, Batman AA was an ok game, so i'll probably get AC next year, but like i've been saying, this is a special year...this is a Zelda year.

Play the same old boring Zelda formula? You are rather uninformed about the latest Zelda aren't you. The "formula" this time around is no where near as cut and dry as it was in all the others. It sounds more like a Metroid than anything (dungeons aren't completed when you beat the boss. You'll have to return to them later on with the new items you've gained to delve deeperto advance)

oh crap..what? that sounds like phantom hourglass. that design decision broke that zelda for me....i hated even the idea of that centeral dungeon. i really hope ninty are not going to try that again. though i do love metroid prime. so if its like that then no biggie.[QUOTE="Pikminmaniac"][QUOTE="Rekunta"]Play the same old boring Zelda formula, or play as Batman in an open city? This sound more like the dungeons are seamlessly connected with the overworldBatman. Zelda is one of my favorite franchises of anything, but Rocksteady has proven that they can do incredible things.

And Nintendo hasn't with Zelda?
