Which amazing/great franchise has fallen the worst this gen?

When i say fallen i dont mean was amazing before but now is crap (it can mean that) but it can also mean a franchise that was the cream of the crop last gen but is now just good or nothing special (ala RE4 to RE5).

This can work by sales, GS score, discussion or the game content.

Il start of by saying Rainbow Six. I loved the original games. The gameplay felt right and required alot of skill. I enjoyed Vegas however i thought it was at least 2 levels below the original Rainbow six. It done very well critically and in sales but i would have preffered if they just kept vegas as a new franchise and kept classic raimbow six going.

konami are so lazy with this series now its depressing, terrible online, and until this year the next gen games didnt have as many features as the ps2 version

Madden after 5 years it is still missing a huge chunk of features from last gen. And the gameplay has actually gotten worse. @K really needs to hurry and make another all pro game. I hate EA.

The Elder Scrolls. Oblivion was a good/great game, but the dynamic leveling of everything is so broken. Tack on that almost every area essentially breaks down into a rehashed cave of many caves before it and I just walked away disappointed.

The sheer scale of the game dropped, which is why I thought it went down. Noobtubes, UAV, nade spam(this is part due to UAV) and the rewarding of camping also killed the game as well.

The sonic rush games are still great, but that rule is generally true.

Silent Hill. Origins was decent at best, Homecoming was bloody awful, and Shattered Memories looks to continue the downward spiral the series is in.

I loved Origins, but Homecoming was a lot better. Shattered Memories looks to be a contender for AA.

PRO Evo- it managed to get beaten by FIFA, last gen if somebody would say it will happen everybody would think he's nuts

Combat Mission: from mastepieces (two AAAs) to unplayable nightmare that CM:Shockforce was at launch. Now two years later most of this has been fixed, but it still doesn't live up to it's predecessors. Hopefully next one will do better, especially since they are going back to WWII setting

Empire Earth- both EE and EE2 were great and gathered huge fanbases, EE3 is one of the worst RTSes I had misfortune of playing

RainbowSix- great work UBI, you took the most influential and groundbreaking tactical shooter IP and turned it into arcade shooter
