Why have you got 3 manufacturers, a publisher and a game?
Thats like "Which is better, Rump, Rib Eye, T Bone, Ice cream or Kenya?"D1zzyCriminal
This made me lmao.
Poll should be reworked.

I already said it was because they wanted to avoid huge lawsuits and attract more costumers. They would have never been so popular if many 360s didn't last 3 years without breaking.kuraimen...aaand we're back to where we started. My retort to the first part of this statement is in my second post in this topic, and my retort to the second part is in my fourth post of the topic. Neither has yet been debunked. Actually your retorts don't debunk my retort either so we are pretty much on lock.
Thats not caring, thats called a "cash-in" lol, they rush out a new game every year so the kiddies can scream to mummy that a new one is out. And yeah i agree with Nintendo, they probably have better support than anywhere else, the only reason MS upped their support is the RROD that almost bulldozed them into law suits.Activision easily, they are willing to go an extra mile just so we can have 1 additional Call of Duty every year, and countless guitar heros. :P
But seriously, it would be hard to compare the big 3 as all of them rip us off in different ways. Nintendo is the only of the 3 who sells a console for more than it costs to make, Sony removes features that will only end up punishing legal customers and Microsoft is Microsoft with its shady practices.
Edit: Still Nintendo has great customer support, and sony has been doing a great job supporting their system. But I Bungie has done a really good job supporting Halo 3 so they win.

[QUOTE="SecretPolice"]Hmm, so this poll only really applies to Satoru Iwata, Steve Ballmer, and Sir Howard Stringer? Maybe Master Chief and Bobby Kotick, too...The only company that may truly care about you is the Company you keep. :P

:P
this topic shouldn't have a poll.
I'd say Valve or Relic because of all the free content they release for their games post-release.
DICE is pretty good as well.
The only company I've had bad experiences with in terms of customer service is Microsoft. I had to send in my old Xbox about 3 or 4 times before they detected a problem with its power supply, yet every time they pretended they had fixed it, while they merely just sent it back the way it came without admitting they weren't able to locate the problem. They also tried to charge my brother 72 euros (that is about 100 USD, mind you) for a simple question about Windows XP during a telephone consult because Vista was already out and XP had become 'an unsupported product'.
For the rest, I'd say Nintendo comes across as the most sympathetic at least, seeing as they make top quality hardware (so far I never had a problem with any of their products unless if it was caused by myself) and seem to be actually concerned about their contribution to the industry in a creative way as well.
Sony - free online.
Microsoft - Xbox Live rocks. RROD doesn't.
Halo/Bungie/Whatever/Masterchief - Umm Thank you. Halo Reach rocks! xD
Activision - Wait what? I dont know if serious...
Nintendo - When did Nintendo care what anybody said? They stand for "I do what I want, whenever I want." Ninty brand. Here, take this motion controller. Go play with it. :P
I'll say Valve.
[QUOTE="hkymike"]Microsoft shouldn't even be on this list. All they acer about is moneymutenpikaWasn't there a 3-year warranty for the RROD? They didn't have to do that, you know.
Yea, the worst by far is Nintendo there the only company that sells there hardware for more then its worth at launch while the others take a massive loss. You just dont get any bang for your buck with them and this generation is the first time i have skipped there console.
MS does. They knew some people were craving to play a next gen system. So they said screw quality testing lets give the people what they want and pay a billion dollars later. But it gets better. After their loyal fans stuck by them they rewarded them by raising the price of Live.

Honestly, thats a pretty stupid reason. Microsoft and Sony sold their consoles at a loss from the beginning because if they didn't no one would have bought their console. Had they been in Nintendo's position they'd have done the same thing.Yeah, cool. BTW, when is Half-Life 3 (or Episode 3 for that matter) coming out?Valve > else.
Maintaining customer satisfaction is a primary goal of running a business. And in the gaming industry Valve does it the best.

The 360 launched with a 3 month warranty. Due to lawsuits and a lot of bad press they extended it to one year, then finally 3 years for RROD, and later added some other defects to the 3 year list.
They really did have to do that, because the consequences for losing the class action lawsuit in CA would have busted the 360 completely.
i definatelly throw the hat to nintendo
because not only do they address every problem right away
-such as remember e3 08
they have done the extra mile for 09 and 2010 e3s and this years line up you better be looking at nintendo
cause they have just cleaned house with every major franchise in one swoop
somthing sony nor microsoft could ever do
-such as
new dkc
2 new zeldas and a remake for 3ds/wii
-kid icarus-3ds
-goldeneye007
-conduit 2
-kirby epic yarn
-super mario galaxy 2
-mario sports mix
-wii party
-metroid other m
-punchout
-warioland and ware
-ssbb
-metroid prime trillogy/and 3 seperatelly
marioparty 8
starfox 3ds
-paper mario 3ds
super paper mario
mariokart for the wii and 3ds
zelda tp
super mario galaxy
new super mario bros
wii line of games
-pokemon
- p ilot wings 3ds
-pikmin 3 -coming soon
with all those games and more
i cant think of one franchise other then fzero and stuntrace that has yet to have a game on ds wii or the new 3dsbut with microsoft they offered nothing notable but fable halo gears crackdown and forza- that is mighty small even with rare , -pd banjo and viva pinata and kameo
and sony they offer slightly more then microsoft but are just finally releasing the classics we all know-such as twisted metal and gran turismo-in case your wondering 30 dollar demos dont count
so with all that
plus when there was a problem with wii not reading disc-ssb nintendo immediatelly took care of the problem free of charge even for launch wii owners
it took microsoft 1 -2 yrs to offer a 3 yr warranty only to those of e74 and rrod
sony well they didnt need much , because sony and nintendo have less failure rating
BUT the first time i called sony they wanted me to pay postage to have them fix my defective controller and when i called ms the first time even under warrante they said oh we cant help you
Im going with Nintendo, because not only does the system last, it was built well, my frist Wii fell like 10 times before (over 3 and a half-4 years mind you) before it broke (only the disc drive broke, everything else; channels, menu, everything else not disc related worked). Oh and Nintendo of America gave us 20% off the repair for the broken Wii to get repaired :O
Nintendo. I get Excellent service when I needed my wii and ds repaired. Easy and they fixed it rapidly; about a week, SONY took double that amount to get my PS3 fixed...
OH and When I sent in my Wii to Nintendo, they sent me a refurbished one (or a new one... It literally had NO scratches on it. :D ). And I realized that my new wii had none of my VC games. I called them up and they transferred it to me easily. :) Nintendo is #1.

Im sorry Sony and Microsoft actually try to drive the industry rather then releasing 5 year old hardware with motion controls that dont even work right.
Nintendo even skipped out on a cd drive for the N64 and claimed it was because loading times killed the gaming experience eventhough cartdriges cost way more for devs to produce games and were much harder to work with so they ended up losing almsot all there 3rd party support for the soul reason they were to cheap to put a cd drive in the N64. Nintendo has alwas been the msot greedy of the console makers.

Why wouldnt anyone sell their product for more than its worth. Its called profit. MS ans Sony had no choice.
