Which company has the most loyal fanbase?

I'm thinking that Nintendo have the most loyal fanbase although that didn't really help the N64 and Gamecube.

And only Sony could launch their console at such an insane price and still have their fanbase buy it, especially in Europe A.K.A "Sonyland".

As for Microsoft- I'm not expecting many votes for them, although a lot of people have stuck with the 360 despite......well, you know.

though i must say some devs really live up to that quality these days. there are some GREAT freaking devs these days guys and girls. lets applaude them for making all these great games.

Since iv seen you in many other topic bashing the PS3 like no tomorrow. I would say sheep are the most calm fanbase and biggest since they have been around for years and I mean years. They do some bashing here and there,but cows and lems are ALWAYS at eachothers throat.

Nintendo. Why?

If you were a kid and played NES and kept buying Nintendo consoles only as you grew up, and you are now a 25+ adult and only own Wii, you are a true fan. I think you are insane but a strong fan nonetheless.

For me, I could never, ever own a Nintendo consoleas my only source for gaming. I would go insane myself.

for me, I am most loyal to Nintendo. I have owned every console they have ever put out since the NES, in addition to a gameboy, gameboy color, and gameboy advance.

That said, Sony has to have the most loyal fans. How anyone could defend Sony's business practices these days: the awful decisions they have made, the complete arrogance, and the trojan horse effect of including an unneeded blu ray player which pushed up the price of the console several hundred dollars and delayed it for a full year. Not to mention poor console design which led to heightened difficulties for developers in making good games. Anyone who could still be loyal to a company that slapped you in the face like Sony has to its fans have to be the most loyal. Nintendo never came close to the disrespect that Sony shows its fans. I almost have to admire cows for their dedication- and I used to be a hardcore cow in the PS1/PS2 days.

I'm going to say Nintendo simply because look at the past years they've been through. If Sony had to ride out 2 rough generations while performing like the 64 and GC did, I highly doubt many of their fans would have stuck around. If Sony had taken a risk and suddenly took a well known franchise and changed it drastically (Zelda: MM to Zelda: WW) something tells me they would have ran, if Sony stepped out of the box with anything they did and took a risk like Nintendo did with the DS and Wii their fanbase would be gone. Nintendo's fan have stuck by them through it all, from being on top, to the bottom, and everything inbetween they've been there. When things looked sketchy and like it would a let down, they stayed true and still continued to support their favorite company. If Sony had done the things Nintendo has done, something tells me that their fanbase would have abandoned them for something else.

As for Microsoft its still too early to tell how loyal they are since in the grand scheme of things Microsoft hasn't been doing game consoles for too long, however I would put them as rather loyal for riding out this generation (mostly in regards to RROD) without faltering and continuing the huge support Microsoft has seen (at least here in the states).

None of those. Blizzard has the most loyal fanbase. 10 mil + subs paying almost the equivalent of a Wii per year is my proof. :)TheCrazed420

Wow i voted Sony because the PS3 was around $600 and it sold very well for a high price machine but reading the above i should have voted Nintendo they have been through a lot and still you get people like kejigoto. They dont care what others think about the console they will support it no matter what. I think your mistaken about the sinking ships. PSP and the PS3 are doing well. I acknowledge the wii being ontop but as far as the 360 it is the one sinking and the ZUNE well that has already sunk lol.

The early adopters of the PS3 were hardcore games and consumers who wanted a cheap Blu-Ray player. Most of Sony's loyal fan base jumped ship and bought a Wii or upgraded their PS2. Some even left and got the XBox 360. So this generation, many Sony loyal fanboys were all that loyal. Seriously, if they were and price didn't matter, the PS3 would be very close in sales with the Wii right now. As you can see, that's not even remotely the case right now. The PS3 is still dead last after almost 2 years.

Nintendo fans seem to the most loyal this generation, but they were able to capture even more loyal fans as well.

Sony´s false promices, the fact that Ps3 is the most expensive system, the one that has the worst lineup and the worse vertions of the multiplats, should convince most of the gamers to shoose other system...
