PS3. Only because i plan on playing the game this year and its definately coming out in japan in 09. This along with Zelda wii are going to be the best games this gen.
PS3, as I highly doubt the X360 version would be exactly the same.
Even if it's just minor stuff like dual audio track, I would still consider it the better package.

PS3,
only because MS srewed themselves by adding a battery powered controller.
Really, come on M$ ,

Um, both controllers are run by batteries.
Yeah, but I don't need to go around looking for batteries or recharging(Which ive been doing for Star Ocean)I can just plug it into the console

He meant the replaceable litium ion batteries like Engergizer or Duracell. I agree too. Why for any reason would you design your controllers in such a way? Thats one of the things Sony got right with their controlles this gen.

It does. Its just that the PS3 one is rechargeable via plugging it into the system through a USB chord.
I am getting for the 360, only because of a bet I made with someone, saying that if the 360 ever gets FFXIII I'll pick it up for the 360. Both games will run the same, only the 360 would have more than one DVD, but I can make the long and dangerous trek to the 360 to chnage the DVDs when I need to.

Ps3 becuz if your going to play FF13 you might aswell play it right. LOL I'm not 100% sure I'll be getting this game anyways, I never played Final Fantasy before, but I'll probably get it anyways.RTUUMM

Especally with RPGs. I don't feel like paying money for a recharge kit and I don't play alot of games so I have no choiceI am getting for the 360, only because of a bet I made with someone, saying that if the 360 ever gets FFXIII I'll pick it up for the 360. Jeez, dude just get a damn quick charge kit. ;)Or you can sell your wireless controller and use the money to get a wired one. That's what I did.[QUOTE="hayato_"] Yeah, but I don't need to go around looking for batteries or recharging(Which ive been doing for Star Ocean)

That's pretty much your problem. To be hones, I have played games on my 360 for hours and never had the battery run out on me. I've had the PS3 run out of a charge in the middle of games quite a bit and had to use that short ass usb cable and sit 3 feet away from my 46 inch set. Not cool. So I have a spare DS3, which is much more expensive than a spare 360 battery, plugged into my PC, so I'm ready to go when I need it.Honestly I have no idea yet. By the time it comes out I'll have both systems so I'll wait to see what gamers have to say who own them on both sides.Im just really curous, which console you guys are going to play FFXIII on and why?

If they ever port it to the PC during a slow month, I might give it a shot.
...and, no, I don't think a PC port is impossible - FFVII, VIII, and XI were ported to the PC, and Square is clearly interested in the system, as demonstrated by The Last Remnant.

That and I don't play games that much. So why again, should I invest in a battery recharger when 1) I have one for batteries already, but the batteries run out quick. 2) Im broke (and I have a job). 3) I just don't care when its already there. I've had the 360 batteries run out way faster then my PS3 controller, especailly when playing RPGs. Just another tactic by corps. to get money imo[QUOTE="heretrix"]You do have a choice. If so,then that's your problem right there. I know you said you are on a tight budget, but they sell the quick charge kit for about 20 bucks and it comes with a battery. You might wind up saving cash in the long run. I know for a fact that a 360 battery charge lasts longer than a PS3 charge by hours. Look it up dude. I'm not trying to be a pain in the butt here, but if you are having that problem, then maybe you should check that out.[QUOTE="hayato_"] Especally with RPGs. the earlier FF PC ports were terrible from what i remember hearing. If they ever port it to the PC during a slow month, I might give it a shot.
