Which console do you think Is a better console, PS3 or XBox 360?

IMO it is the X-Box 360. Why? Here are my reasons.

1) Great looking user interface. The interface is very fast upon the click of a controller key.

2) Great games. There is literally something for everybody, from the older generation to the newer generation.

3) X-Box Live Gold. Whenever you play vs other people, the quality is real good since you are actually paying for good quality.

4) Other non game accessories such as movies, internet browser, and music, should you be able to have the need for it.

This is why I love my X-Box 360.

I prefer my 360 for games.

Buying, playing, getting information, library (exclusive and non-exclusive).

PS3 is better for non-game services. Netflix, blu-ray (obviously), internet search.

The PS3 is the better gaming machine, imo, but I refuse to buy it because SONY isn't an American company.

They're both equally as good.

Hard to say. The 360 gets most of my gaming time, due to the multiplats and exclusives, and I generally prefer the system. However, I really enjoy the PS3 exclusives, as well.

I prefer my 360 for games.

Seems you wasted your money if thats all you use your PS3 for, shouldve did more research on what you buy instead of buying blindly.

I chose not to buy a 360. I think you know the answer.

PS3 has a better library to me. Theres something for everyone on the console. I just use my 360 for exclusives but its been gatheirng dust as of late.

As an ecosystem, PS3.

Been 6 years, still haven't figured out which I like better.

If I have to pick between PS3 and 360 exclusives, those for the PS3 suits my tastes more. Otherwise, they're about the same. The only reason I didn't pick the 360 at the time was because it was at the height of the RROD scare when I made the purchase.

Truth is that both consoles are mostly manufactured in China and Taiwan. Just like most American car parts are manufactured (specifically engine blocks) in Mexico with final assembly in factories all over the world.

You can buy a PS3 and still be helping an American game developer, Sony employee, stock holder and retail outlet just as much as buying a 360.

The average persons misunderstanding of world economics knows no bounds.

I give the 360 2006-2008.
Then I give the PS3 2009-2012.
Now I give WiiU 2013-Still Going

PS3 is better, BUT X360 dominated the previous years while PS3 just started ruling when they're both close to their end of life cycle,
Which in turns makes X360 superior to PS3, I repeat, PS3 is better than X360 NOW, But X360 owned everything in the previous 6 Years.

Exactly. The world of "buy local" is pretty much only about produce and smaller companies nowadays. Larger companies often operate on a global scale, and often, buying based on country, rarely helps said country anymore.

They're basically the same. It just depends on which set of exclusives/console exclusives you like better.

The Wii got more use in my household. When I had the 360 and PS3 I enjoyed the PS3 exclusives a lot more than the 360 ones.

I prefer the 360 because of it's library, but PS3 has some great exclusives! Other than that, they are pretty even in everything (services, graphics, etc...).

PS3 is a 360 that plays bluray and exclusives. 

Think of PS3 as a 360 2.0

LOL.. Free for basically same services VS. pay for same sevices. Netflix is cheaper on ps3 too.

You must not have a ps3. The ps3 has all of those services FREE. You dont have to pay to surf the web, play online games, stream music ect.

 

This is why I love my X-Box 360.

But, hey Im glad you like your 360. I have both 360 and ps3 and like them both.

I don't really play much on either, lately, but the PS3 is the better system all around.

I'm more familiar with it, so that helps, but it also has a better controller, better UI, better online (becuase it is free), better apps (and so much better it doesn't make any sense).

It's actually confusing to me how anyone who owns both could prefer the 360 tbh.  

Not to mention the combined power of the Tablet and the Sytem can create better graphics with the Controller holding some of that memory making more space for great things like A.I. and animation.StaticOnTV
