Which console do you think Is a better console, PS3 or XBox 360?

Xbox 360 because their games aren't mediocre 6-hour interactive movies that the PS3 has.

3) X-Box Live Gold. Whenever you play vs other people, the quality is real good since you are actually paying for good quality.

IMO it is the X-Box 360. Why? Here are my reasons.

1) Great looking user interface. The interface is very fast upon the click of a controller key.

2) Great games. There is literally something for everybody, from the older generation to the newer generation.

3) X-Box Live Gold. Whenever you play vs other people, the quality is real good since you are actually paying for good quality.

4) Other non game accessories such as movies, internet browser, and music, should you be able to have the need for it.

 

This is why I love my X-Box 360.

1.PS3 interface is better. The 360 interface is the biggest POS I have laid eyes on. Instead of console functions its all adds. Ad-box 360

2. WTF? 360 has no exclusives at all but halo/gears/forza trifecta

3. Xbox live gold is absolute ****, constant party chat problems and LOL @ paying

4. No, I have a computer for this stuff and ps3 plays blu rays.

I have both so I like both

PS3 a bit better. They're both solid consoles for their gen. PS3 wins in exclusives, 360 has generally had an edge in multi-plats. I've found the 360's controller better for shooters than the PS3's, although I guess there's other options if you wanted to try them. I like the PS3's better sound quality and the ability to play Blu-ray movies.

Hard to say. The 360 gets most of my gaming time, due to the multiplats and exclusives, and I generally prefer the system. However, I really enjoy the PS3 exclusives, as well.

It's made even more amusing by the fact that all these companies are multinational corporations.

Thats what leads me to believe that a lot (not all) of the 360 fanboys are misled into false sense of xenophobia or simply cant afford another console so feel the need to justify their perches.

Truth is that both consoles are mostly manufactured in China and Taiwan. Just like most American car parts are manufactured (specifically engine blocks) in Mexico with final assembly in factories all over the world.

You can buy a PS3 and still be helping an American game developer, Sony employee, stock holder and retail outlet just as much as buying a 360.

The average persons misunderstanding of world economics knows no bounds.

There is a Legacy Platforms forum designed specifically for last gen and older gen hardware, please post in the correct forum.

I have both but only play a few exclusive games here and there on the 360, most of my time is on PS3. imo it's a much better system with better games.

I've spent far more time and have had far more fun on the 360, so that gets my vote. but the PS3 definitly has some stuff going for it, mainly the Blu-Ray drive for me though...

i've been saying it for years. anyway, this is definitely the multiplat generation but the ps3 has a couple more exclusives that i like.

I'd say if you were to own one console last gen, it should be the PS3. It covers all its bases very well

While they might do better in some of these categories, the other two consoles seem to falter in one or two of those aspects. PS3 has its bases covered.

I used to have both. Sold PS3, never played it, controllers suck so bad they should be outlawed. PS3 is a good system, but it's got nothing on 360 as far as I'm concerned.

It's just you.  Hold the two controllers up next to each other and you'll find the DS3 is a bit bigger than the 360 pad.  Add to that the fact that the ds3 has greater sensitivity in all of its inputs, the ds3 is just the better controller.

1. Better User interface( i hate having non game related adds all over my dashboard when im still paying $15 dollars a month

2. Better exclusives.  ( Im a huge fan of GoW, Uncharted, KZ and Infamous while the Xbox only has Halo and Gears for me.

3.  Better online( yes I said it after owning both PS+ actually gives you something worth paying for while XBLG is a staight rip off.

With the new systems coming out, this subject is even more pointless than it usually is. In response to your question I say the Gamecube trumps them all. Time travel machine, coffee maker, and cube all in one.

Combat Evoved was the first Halo game on the original Xbox. I hope you aren't trying to throw the anniversary edition in there.

The poor calves are jelly of Halo again. Its just sad since they only have movies to play.

PS3 for sure. I sometimes feel sad for Xbots that complain about games having online components. I would be mad too if I had to pay for something every one else gets free. And I don't give a damn a cross-party. Don't know what is and having needed it.

Also easily the best exclusives unless you live for Gears or Halo.
