I think Xbox is fairly clear due to their exclusives scoring well across the board.

Nothing beats Haze and Lairs flops, although the hate for the 8.8 for Twlp was pretty hilarious

PS4 doesn't even have an AAAE yet, does it? At least that'll change in March. But every one of the console's big games since November 2013 have been resounding flops.

Wii-U. Just like it's predecessor it's a shovelware system. Not nearly as bad, but still pretty bad.

Other than Nintendo games it's been the gen of flop after flop.

Who cares about listing flops? Also, it's early in the gen, so should we look back at 7th gen and list flops? What a mess.

Let's measure the good and successful, fun games.

The system with the most flops could be the system with the most successful great games as well.

The old idiom, "You can't make an omelet without cracking a few eggs" or "you've got to crack a few eggs to make an omelet" come to mind.

Pumping out IPs that miss like Nintendo's Electroplankton or Mystery Case Files: MillionHeir doesn't suddenly mean they are a bad developer or that particular machine has little value.

I applaud the efforts of companies to experiment instead of cranking out cookie-cutter sequels that play it safe (a la COD, AC, etc).

To answer this question, I would think the console with the most flopped games was one of those lame consoles that had no HYPE to begin with like the OUYA. That's right. The OUYA is the winner in having no flops. Congrats to OUYA so let's all go buy one.

This is why we shouldn't worry about flopped games because each flop represents an effort by a team of developers for at least TRYING to make a game for us. If a console manufacturer plays it safe and doesn't produce many games, they win the "least flops contest, lol". If a console developer decides to play it safe and stick to SAFE IPs pumping out sequel after sequel instead of taking a chance financing a bonafide new IP, again should we REALLY be praising that lazy effort?

@freedomfreak: The only thing that is a flop for the Wii U is the deal with Sega. (Oh, and Game and Wario, especially from the likes of Intelligent Systems)

Do they suck? Yeah. Do I regret my purchases? Nah.

I bought my PS4 way too early, but Bloodborne being right around the corner is the kick off point for me and there are other worthwhile exclusives on the way.

The WiiU? It's everything I expected. Staple Nintendo franchises with the occasional new IP, or 3rd party exclusive. Games I really want to play with droughts in between. I knew this when I bought it, the WiiU is the ultimate side bitch next to my PC. But tbh, I still haven't even caught up to all the WiiU games I want to play, so it's actually not that bad.

As for the MCC, unlike the Sony flops this gen, Halo is a flagship franchise for MS. Sonys flops amount to two new IPs and a third that has always been mediocre.
