"Xbox 360" is widely agreed to have the best online. The "Wii's" online service is heavily criticised. The "PlayStation 3's" online service is generally regarded as being somewhere in the middle.
I think it's a little early to be counting Nintendo out. Sure SSBB's onlne was/is awful but they were figuring it out. Mario Kart is a huge improvement, And Pro Evo 2008 has the best online on the Wii of all 3 platforms.
It's still maturing but it's getting better everyday.
