Which console will have the bigger Counterstrike GO community to play with?

360 or PS3. I believe it will be the 360 because there is a larger community of users who enjoy FPS games and that 360 will have the definitive console version. What say you?

I think PS3, most 360 players are casual gamers that probably don't know what Counter-Strike is. Most of them play COD, and some play stuff like Halo. Then again, it seems that the cows on this forum aren't really into CS:GO either.

People will buy it, realize that it isn't ultra simplified and constand EZ Mode like CoD, and then go back to playing MW3.

On PC it will thrive and get constant updates/dev support and in a matter of months will be nearly indistinguishable from the console version, similar to how TF2 is

It will probably be easy to run on pc like most valve games so chances are your pc can play it.

People will buy it, realize that it isn't ultra simplified and constand EZ Mode like CoD, and then go back to playing MW3.

Both will have small communities. Its not as casual/noob friendly as CoD.

Depends on when COD:MW4 comes out... Get your self a HD 6770 for £80 and play the game properly.

I don't think you realise what he's trying to say.

He's talking about the gameplay differences of CS:GO and other games, currently. Its not going to be big on consoles as CS:GO is more of a PC type game, and most casuals won't get it.

A couple hundred or so people in a sea of hundreds of millions of gamers.

And if I was confusing "dead" with "any community that isn't as big as CoD" then I'd think every game is dead.....

I don't think I could even play a full match of Counter Strike with analogs. Unless I was using the shotgun or Mp5 or the Para.

Console gamers will buy this game, get frustrated and quit. Leaving a very small dedicated community to play with. AKA ghost towns. PC is where it's at, but if I had to guess which console willl have the bigger community I'd say 360.

Both will fail on the consoles. They don't have perks, killstreaks, iron sights, a ton of auto aim, fast deathmatch modes, persistent characters...

Bascially, CS GO is everything the modern console shooter is not.

If this is a skilled team-based game .... look for the PS3 to have a better community. They are a competitve hardcore group and anyone weak won't survive. If this is just some Call of Duty arena deathmatch type crap .... then it will probably be filled with annoying little children on Live who run around like chickens with their heads cut off.

TF2 on PC, with all the updates, doesn't even feel like the same original game which was so much more fun and that is why I prefer the unadulterated 360 version.
