I've been playing my PS3 on the weekends, and everytime I play it, my room warms up

So SW, which system can best warm your room?

I voted PC because generally they do, but my PC actually cools it. My legs get cold if I don't wear long pants. I have the Antec 900 case with 5 fans going so it runs at a very low temp, even though i have a 280 gtx and a quad core.

360's run hotter, the reason my ps3 runs so hot is because its smushed between my audio reciever and my tivo, having it on the carpet doesn't help either.

I was actually using my 360 as a personal heater/gaming device. Unfortunately for me, it didn't handle the heat too well. Now I have a PC, Wii (on standby), and PS3 to heat my room, but none of them do the trick like the good ol' Xbox.

My old laptop would make me sweat if I had it on my lap. My 360 runs warm but I think the PS3 is the hottest console, it turns the room in winter into a nice temperature

I'd say my 360, I remember it would get too warm in my room during the winter, and I would have to open the window right above it. :P Never noticed anything from my Wii or PS3 though.

I have the same case + fan upgrades. It helps to turn the fan speed to low on all of them (to mitigate coldness).
Still, it never keeps me warm. The top portion actually does a great job at keeping my drinks somewhat cool.

Well I had my 360 and PC running...it's -25 out...and I have the warmest room in the house by far. A PC makes a good heater.

My room is usually the coldest. I have PC and PS3 standing there. Wii downstairs for everyone to use. I have never noticed warmth from any of them. The Wii and PS3 get warm when You touch it, but not hot.

MY guess is between the 360 and the PS3. Im guessing the Wii puts off as much heat as a calculator.

You rest your drink on the top? Hopefully that doesn't spill into the fan. :P

Its summer here and i had my 360 on a couple of days ago, it was around 33C but the heat coming out of it made the room feel way hotter. I was sweating more than playing Wii Fit.

PS3 runs hotter, xbox 360 runs warm (mine doesn't get that hot anyway, its always been on glass stands maybe that help?) and my Wii doesn't get hot at all but I never leave Wii connect 24 running (also it isn't plugged in  ).

I have only tried with x360 and it didn't warm up my room.. Its not a big room, but you need something better than a gaming console to heat it up

I went with 360, because they typically get hotter than the PS3. (Proven by friends) Though, i only own a PS3, and that, coupled with my TV (mainly my TV) heat up my room to a good 70 or even 80 sometimes if I leave them both running, with my lamp on, and my computer/monitor on. Sometimes it just gets really hot in my room, lol. I have a small room though :)

It seems different with me It takes hours for my computer to warm up my surroundings while on consoles, it takes 1 hour Maybe its because the computer is on the living room :P

The PS3 puts out a lot of heat, but most the heat in my room comes from my PC and two 21" CRT monitors and a 19" LCD. My PC has a cramped case and the two 8800GTS along with all the other hardware manages to push out a heck of a lot of heat. I usually leave it on constantly since just having the furnace on and two blankets still leaves me pretty cold in the night.

PC easily. But the consoles all do a very fair job. My launch 360 runs hotter than my launch PS3...but my new 360 Elite runs about half as hot as my PS3. Wii...well...if I needed a Wii to keep my warm, I'da frozen to death long ago.
