Iono I guess he is knocking someones living space since it doesn't warm as fast and i.e. must be smaller; if it warms faster I guess it could be warmed faster if more visited.
More people should go to http://sh0v.mine.nu but I bet my connection would get owned sooner than my processing power and my room wouldn't warm any faster given the limitation of connection.
cute thread. if im a guy is it allright if i say/use the word "cute"? Anyways. The PC. Being in a room filled with PCs is like... something warm. Consoles not so much. theyre warm like five inches away from them but.. they dont have the power to push that heat away.LOXO7
Sure I don't see why using the word cute would "bring you down." This is the internet a place to voice our opinion mostly without consequences.
Could you imagine if every time an american, german, spanish, french, british, etc.. posted something "bad" a ninja busted through the window and cut his head off. That'd be a pretty crappy world.
My iguana actually uses my ps3 has a heat source because it releases the perfect amount of heat for him to stay warm so its perfect. my laptop gets really hot, so hot i cant put it in my lap unless there is some form of cloth or material between it and my lap.
But overall niether warm up my place as a whole
Oh yea, I get what you mean with laptops, those things are so freaking hot :xMy iguana actually uses my ps3 has a heat source because it releases the perfect amount of heat for him to stay warm so its perfect. my laptop gets really hot, so hot i cant put it in my lap unless there is some form of cloth or material between it and my lap.

[QUOTE="Panther501"]i'm guessing the 360 would warm you room cause those things can run hotdotWithShoesSo can the ps3.
Not really. =\
Probably it'd be the 360.

the ps3 runs just as hot - it just doesn't spin its fans up as much, so the inside of the box itself can be running ridiculously hot while your ears never really notice. try feeling the air coming out of it.[QUOTE="Gl0ry_L0rd"][QUOTE="dotWithShoes"] So can the ps3.Makari

I've felt it, it was really HOT :PNot my PC. I got all aftermarket cooling on my GPU and CPU. Plus I have 4 120mm fans in my case which keep it fairly cool. If anything my 360 lets out more heat by far and could heat up my room.Killfoxpc's they generate the most heat. And I don't get these posts that because they have good cooling the heat magically disappears, showing me they have little comprehension on the subject of heat. Better cooling actually will heat your room faster since it pushes the heat out of your pc and into the air in your room. You'll notice bad cooling first though since it will generally build up before it dissipates into the room.

Sorry if the inside of you case already cool then the air coming out wont be that warm.
360. Horrible. Hell my PC is far quieter and cooler.... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gaming PC: Intel Q6600 Quad Core, Gigabyte P35C-DS3R, 4gb Corsair C5 PC6400, 8800 GT 512mb, 250GB SATA, 160 GB SATA, 650w CoolerMaster Power Duo, Thermaltake Soprano, Samsung 2243BW 22" skrat_01It doesn't matter if your pc feels far quieter and cooler. The only thing that matters here are watts used during gameplay.
If you notice a warmer room with the 360 it is likely due to your hdtv. The 360 in fact only uses about 175 watts under load.

Sorry if the inside of you case already cool then the air coming out wont be that warm. Your PC is taking in and burning, say, 200w at full load. It doesn't care what kind of cooling on it, it is going to keep generating a fixed amount of heat. What better cooling does is more efficiently take that heat off of your processor and dissipate it into the room. It's still generating just as much heat no matter what kind of cooling you're using. What you're accidentally trying to imply is that using better cooling will make your PC generate less heat, and thus use less power. That's pretty silly. :)
