Which fanboy do you consider yourself to be?

Yep, majority of posters are not really manticore, including myself.

So many manticores yet all I ever see is cows creating hate and butthurt threads every other minute. Cows should be dominating the poll but I see they're all chicken to admit it. Well I'm not affraid to say I'm a cow....mooooo baby mooooo

I lead a Manticore lifestyle longitudinally (meaning, over the years I've gamed happily on most every platform and am open to any in the future that tickle my fancy). My favorite and oldest platform is PC, though, so I'll call myself a Herm, why not :-P

I am, technically; I do love my Playstations and don't feel the need to have other consoles. Yet I've played most of the Nintendo games since one of my closest friends loves Nintendo and I own a 3DS, as for the Xbox, most games I want are also released on PC so I get to play almost all I want with just owning a Playstation.

I thought manticore meant you owned and played multiple platforms.

I don't not support companies unless they're doing shitty business for consumers. extremes....not "guy gets his PS4 locked bc his real name is whatever."

I don't support MS bc I hear the Marketplace sucks ass. As for Xbox....I could take it or leave it.

I like this thread. It's like an AA meeting for fanboys. Too many of the extreme fanboys on this site are still lying to themselves and wont admit they have a problem. I'm disappointed in that. Some of you guys need an intervention. You know who you are! Come forth and unburden yourselves!

I love threads like these. They really bring out the liars and fakeboys. i mean just look at all the known cows on this board trying to pass off as "manticores" while praising everything out of the sony camp and bashing anything microsoft does.

Looking at the poll it seems like Hermits are loud and proud about their fanboyism and Lemmings are the least likely to admit the truth about their ridiculous corporate slavery.

I think 90% of these so called "manticores" are fanboys in hiding.

Closest for me would be a manticore, but since I think the Wii U was a pile of garbage I guess I don't make the cut.

Dunno i like the Wii it's just not got that many games that feed my interest unlike the N64.

Manticore. While I definitely have my order of preference which is Nintendo > Xbox > Playstation > PC; I have all of the systems since I don't want to miss out on anything and I have both praise and criticism for all of them.

@mjorh: I do play PS4/XB1 and Wii U. I barely touch PC anymore but yes as of now I'm a cow. There far from perfect but I simply think they have generally done the best job.

I once made a thread just like this and it got locked for the silliest reasons. Just comes to show how biased the mods can be against certain people.

Actually his definition of where the "cow" name came from is wrong, sony fans got the name cow from early PS2 disk read errors where many users would buy another PS2 to replace their DRE system before Sony fixed the issue (which ironically could be easily fixed by the user at no cost) thus the "cow" term got coined by xbox fans packing at Sony fans for being milked.

The irony of that name that xbox fans came up with is the xbox 360 had the highest fail rate in history and users were getting charged for services and add ons (360 needed pay to play online while PS3 had free online, you couldn't play netflix on 360 unless you had a XBL sub) in a worse manner than any other system or company ever before ($100 20gb hard drive ect) but deafened both the restrictive and over priced accessories as well as the XBL fees tooth and nail the entire generation.

These days I would be a Hermit, siding with the Lemmings. I used to be a hardcore sheep but Nintendo lost me during the second half of the Wii era.

I would consider myself sheep. I own an Xone and a PS4 also, but Nintendo will always be my favorite

I try very hard to be a powerful cow.

Waayyy too many users claiming to be manitcore. Wouldn't really be a System Wars if that were the case., considering all the crybabies that turn up whenever a game flops or if anticipation builds up for an upcoming game.
I think a better question would be, what current system do you prefer? Everyone has one, even if they own and play all of them.

I've shifted to mobile platforms the last couple of years, and it's been wonderful.

I like good games and gaming is a very affordable hobby.

Have some respect. I'm trying very hard. Lots of effort was put into it.

@SOedipus: Owning all systems has afforded us this privilege. And everyone has preferences. Mine goes something like this:

1. Nintendo

2. Sony

3. Sega

4. Xbox

5. PC

But that still doesn't mean I can't be manticore and enjoy a little of everything. And anyone who's been around this place for any amount of time knows people say things they don't really mean. Just being here in this environment encourages us to act petty and stupid.
