Well there are bosses that are incredibly hard in FFVII, but they were optional, but the hardest boss you had to face for me was Seymour in FFX in the mountains, I had to quit a few months before i gave it another go

The ones that were seemingly impossible to kill. The first ones i remmember too well are the ones from FF VII.

The toughest ones are always the optional ones. The Dark Aeons from FFX, Ruby and Emerald weapons in FFVII, etc.

Emerald Weapon from FFVII.. I defeated him without the underwater materia, mime and Final Attack - Revive...it was one long battle.

no boss is hard if you level up enough and get all the secret weapons and GFs(Aions or what ever they call them)

Whats this got to do with SW?

But yeah, Penance from FFX, EU version only. Hes the secret boss, oh and you can't defeat him with any cheap Materia combo like FFVII. Penance destroys Ruby and Emerald weapon, hes got no weaknesses.

Hes designed for stat maxed characters, meaning if you raise peoples attributes to 255 this guy is still going to kick your ass.
