In a forum where Crysis is bashed left right and centre for being "all graphics and nothing else" its winning this poll. Its shocking that the almighty Killzone 2 and Halo 3 not beating it! :D

CoD4 is another topic, it went dry the second i loaded up the 1st mission, and i expect nothing more from MW2 (dry, stale, rehash) the best CoD was the 1st and it always will be, everything else since then is just the same game with a re-skin...IMO ofc :P

Please let it be noted i will by MW2 regardless of everything i just said :)

I know, but it still has the best single player campaign. And with the updated version coming on to XBLA, i can see it putting alot of 2009 FPS' to shame.

my choice is COD 4.very good.good story,very easy to follow.lots of twists and turns.lots of action.and a gut punch at the end.with HL 2 not far behind.

that game had rewards or badges earned by achieving cool things in the missions that made you want to play it over and over and over and over. It was alot better than finding skulls, or playing through 1 time and heading to multi player never to want to play the single player again like most on the list here. WTB more fresh fun ideas that add to replay value
