You don't need an opinion. It is a fact that Blizzard produces the best and most technologically stunning CGI game cut-scenes... and has been for some time. The Diablo III trailer is just the tip of the iceberg... the entire game is going to have that quality... which blows the mind.

Title says it all. In the past, games sometimes relied on CGI cutscenes, but now, they're replaced with in game cut scenes. For me, I think that Halo Wars has some absolutely amazing CGI scenes in the trailers. And while it is beating a dead horse a little, Killzone 2's announcement trailer looked great. Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath. So ahead of its time, like all Oddworld games. As far as setting the bar though, that goes to Killzone 2 for its epic intro sequence.

The Final Fantasy series (especially Versus and 12), Halo Wars is pretty good, I on't know if it counts, but Advent Children looked pretty damn good as well, though it was a HORRIBLE movie.

it does but i have seen a better halo ad. u gotta love MS and bungies marketing unlike Sony and GG >.> i havent even seen one ad for KZ 2. all they need is one line, some music and some breathtaking vids (ez) and thats it. One line = "They will know, that Helghan belongs to the Helghast" that gets me pumped up everytime :D

Yeah, Starry Night may be better, this one just had a greater impact on me.

Blizzard, Team Ninja, SquareEnix all make some amazingly good CGI. Ensemble looks to have some fantastic CGI too with Halo Wars.

Final Fantasy XII. I wqas so ready to play that game 1 minute into the intro, but I didn't wnat to skip it because it looked so awesome.

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm. It looks a lot like the anime.

Full Metal Alchemist games on the PS2. It used actual anime for some cutscenes.

GTAIV. Everything flows smoothly and the character animations look real.

Uncharted. Same reason as GTAIV

Kingdom Hearts. Everything flowed smoothly in the cutscenes again. You see in some games that the characters will look shaky when moving around, THUG2 remix is a perfect example. THUG2 PSP is a great game, but the characters are shivering all the time during a cutscene.

FFVII Crisis Core. Same reason as Kingdom Hearts. Square Enix makes some top notch CGI, they should release another Full Metal Alchemist game on the PS3 but this time they should put more effort into it.
