Which game is more boring TLG or NMS

I'm more interested on how much hype these games with get. TLG will probably be under hyped as usual. Nobody will probably even bother to even hype NMS.

If TLG flops there going to be a riot. Seven years is going to one hell of a wait.

The Last Guardian will be the better game if that's what you're asking. Assuming the development hell hasn't fucked up the game design in some major way. Though I'm sure Ueda sorted out his vision years ago.

I dont get the hype with no mans sky, I feel like its going to be cool for a little while, but there will not be enough substance to keep someone around for the long haul

Don't see the hype for any of them based on recent gameplay. No way am I paying full price for either one. They shouldn't be priced that high anyways. TLG should be free to ps3 user and NMS looks 20 to 30 dollars at best.

TBH, both games look boring as hell to me. The sad part is that besides UC4, these are probably the most hyped games coming to PS4. People who only own a PS4 are in for dark times I'm afraid.

To be fair, there's only like 5 people here still looking forward to the game. And we're not even hyped for it or expecting greatness. Just hoping it turns out good.

There's no flop to be had, no impending riot, no curving the hype... Nobody really cares, that ship sailed years ago.

That game doesn't look appealing in any way whereas The Last Guardian will probably be kind of dated but still enjoyable.

Well I guess we'll know when we've played them both, which will be a while.

Wasn't impressed by The Last Guardian E3 video one bit, need to see more. No Man's Sky 18min gameplay looked interesting and better than anything they showed before but I haven't watched other videos after that.

I cant wait for an ICO game , they are always delivering and are unique. TLG will deliver and we all know it. It might not be an AAAA or AAA all i care but its a fantastic unique concept , puzzle game. Similar to ICO which i really liked alot.

Did you mean to say "I bet most of you don't know what you're going to be doing in this game."? That's my best guess.

If so, then yes you're correct, at least for my part. I imagine it's going to be a puzzle platformer with little bits of combat. I'm not looking forward to it because of some comprehensive understanding regarding the specifics of the gameplay. I'm looking forward to it because I loved ICO and SotC and I love the unique, otherworldly feel that these games bring to the table. It's like they pay no attention to what the rest of the industry is doing when they make their games, and I appreciate that.

I'm interested in the title based on the developers brief history. Again, I'm not "hyped", I'm not claiming it's going to be great, I'm not trying to throw it on some spreadsheet for cows to use as SW fuel. It's just something I'm looking forward to.

All that said, the game went through some development hell. Lost for direction, multiple rebuilds and a platform change aren't usually good signs lol.

Which brings me back to the original point. We're just a handful of dudes hoping that the game turns out good despite all that. No point in setting up some straw man about cows under-hyping it because, truth be told, cows really don't care. The only people left that are looking forward to this game are a handful of Team Ico fans.

Can't believe these guys took years to make a basic puzzle game. Maybe they couldn't decide how to end the game. Might as well go with the obvious either the dog or the kid dies at the end. These ppl are total relic in the past.

In my opinion under-hyping suggest you do care because your trying to save yourself from the "I told you so" experience from everyone. Why would you go around making constant threads about a game talking about how good it is until you end up choosing a score lower than what you made it out to be. Its pretty much saving face and not being a a joke for the next few days.

I haven't been waiting for 10 years. I wasn't even playing videogames at the time this was announced. It's just another game for me, not a Holy Grail.

It would be interesting how ppl will defend TLG since its kind of hard to defend vaporware.

I wonder how many studio back in their earlier days made games just as critically acclaim and still making games that ppl are criticizing as of now because their recent works weren't as good.

See that's just the thing though. Unless we're going to dig up threads from years long past and build up retroactive hype, then there's really nothing here.

Trust me man, I get it. Cows inflate upcoming games to be the best shit ever only to turn around and give it some modest hype. Happens all the time. I know.

What I'm saying is that that's not the case with this game. Most cows are just like "meh" now. They haven't even included it in their petty list wars for a long time, the game has become a running joke.

The only people left that care about this game are Team Ico fans. And personally, I don't even care about what the games scores beyond the SW metagame. And even then, the metagame is pretty much dead. We get a few quick lulz and it's done.
