No this is base on my preferences mind you.

Since GTAIV isn't coming out this year I can get another one of these three games but not sure which.

Here's my choices.

Assassins Creed, Bioshock, Stranglehold.

Now lemme say that I loved Prince of Persia games but it had no replayability for me and I just wanted to get them over with and clear the level more so then play it again and again. So not sure how much I will want Assassins Creed in the long run.

Bioshock l think looks good but I do hate horror kind of games cause like with Silent Hill 2 I loved it but I just wanted to get it over with and I want to buy a game I would want to play again and again or getgreat value. also how long is the campaign forthis?

For Stranglehold it looks fun but I fear it might get repititive and I'll get bored easily. I wasnt a huge fan of Max Payne I wanna mention too.

Just for more knowledge here's the games I will be getting this Q4.

Halo 3, Mass Effect, Half-Life2: OB, COD4

So what do you guys think?

diggyzoom

No I'll like all three I'm just asking which I'll like "the most"

And OB is Orange Box as in Half-Life2: OB

Well, I think Stranglehold has multiplayer, so you might want to think about that.

Keep in mind NHL 2K8. Ea Sports has been slacking the past couple of years in their sports titles. Madden and NBA Live sucks. Streets is ok.

NHL 07 and their new skill stick system is the biggest innovation in sports gaming for me. It works and feels so good and right and doesn't feel tacked on or like a gimmick

Its sad that you are only choosing between those three. I for one can't decide and thusly am getting all three of them ;).
Stranglehold, though I'm sure is good, isn't going to be at the level of the other two (even though I still believe Stranglehold to define action games).

Assasin's creed looks amazing but I wouldn't put it on any level close to Prince of Persia. yes they are both full of acrobatics and similiar feel, they still approach gameplay mechanics differentely.

Bioshock isn't a horror game exactly but knowing the developers, there will be situations that make the game absolutely atmospheric and will just freak, disturb, and turn you into a complete paranoid. Though the singleplayer is suppose to be very replayable, I don't think it the replayability you are looking for. I'm not too sure.

I honestly don't know what to tell you.

Thanks for the reply.

I think Bioshock is probably what I'll get. From all the amazing reviews it sounds like something I gotta experience.
How long is the campaign btw? I heard someone say 20 hours is that true?

Yes yes, Bioshock is 20 hours and over. Plus there are several moral choices that effect replay and consider that every single situation in that game is unique... that opens up a lot of just messing around and seeing what crazy traps and fights you can cause. You should maybe think about trying out System shock 2 though to fully understand what you are getting at....

i'm very interested as to what happens if you kill the big daddy and go after the little sister. Are there many little sisters or just one?

Oh wow... you really are misinformed on the game...
Okay, look... there are LOTS and LOTS of little sisters. Little sisters extract ADAM and ADAM is your only way of "evolving" yourself. Killing a big daddy is like fighting a boss on your home turf. Every encounter with all the Big daddys are different because they roam around with the sister. However, you are the one that can plan, set traps, and use plasmids.

When the Big daddy is killed, you have two options. Save or kill the little sister. Killing her gives you LOTS OF ADAM but saving gives you little. However, if you save all the little sisters, you get some special reward that nobody knows about.

I really recommend you watch the E3 stage demo here on gamespot.

I'm not really misinformed dude. I knew most of that except the many different sisters and the whole killing them for adams or saving them all and a reward. So if you don't save every single one of them you won't get the reward?
