Theres alot but speaking strictly from this gen its
Heavenly Sword
Kameo
Blue Dragon (360)
Dead or Alive 4
Naruto Ultimte Ninja Storm
you don't have very high game standards do you?
No Dead or Alive love. *tsk tsk*My top two picks would probably be Mother 3 and Elite Beat Agents.
nintendoman562
They have Mother 3 in Japan only which really pisses me off. They should have a 3d console release of this game though. It's really the only RPG that I like because you don't randomly get a match.

Wow... are you serious? 3 underated AA games and 2 below. None of these games are bad.
Would it please you if i put Halo, Gears of War, Uncharted etc? well guess what, all those games WILL get sequals and this thread is about games that wont. And from that, that list is comprimised of games that I (remember its me, not you) feel should get a sequal but wont.
I would say Crackdown but that is actually happening lol.
Star Wars: Jedi Academy (Evil ending totally left it open for a sequel)
Custom Robo
The Guardian Legend (Old NES game)
Megaman Legends 3
Jet Set Radio (Dreamcast style, not the terrible Xbox sequel)
Seaman 2 (I loved this game and found alot of humor there)
San Fransico Rush
Diddy Kong Racing
Sacrifice.
I still haven't beat it =/ The amazing thing about that game is how radically different each play through can be. Something that games to this day rarely even come close to doing.Only listing games which deserve a sequel but will most probably not
- Age of Mythology
- Alpha Centauri
- Next Myth
- Next Master of Magic
- Next Dungeon Keeper
- Darklands
-ToEE
- Arcanum
- Vampire : Bloodlines
- next XCom
- next NOLF
Man I can't believe I forgot Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.. Definitely a sequel for this.I was about to say Xenogears, but I think it was pretty self contained. It's like FFVII. It doesn't need any extraneous storytelling (although VII could use a remake to do a better job of telling the story in a manner that isn't over the top).
Maybe Siren. We haven't heard any news of a new Siren title, which is starting to make me worry. Maybe the New Translation game didn't do great in Japan (considering it's Siren, marketed to westerners).
Anyways, I'm going to say a new Chrono game, and a new Clock Tower game. Oh and a new Haunting Ground game (despite the poor second half). I'd also like to see Sega make a sequel to WachenRoder for the saturn, but that'll probably never happen.
[QUOTE="nintendoman562"][QUOTE="darkspineslayer"]I am appauled that nobody has mentioned The World Ends With You. are you guys like, allergic to great new IPs or something?GANGSTASANAh I forgot about TWEWY, my favourite DS game. I don't feel like the game really opened up for a sequel though, I felt like the story was wrapped up nicely though. Sequel to TWEWY would be great methinks as well. i kind of agree with both of you. the game NEEDS a sequal, but the story of Neku and co. is finished. lets see a new city, new charecters and new enemys along with the old ones.
a true Jak 4 that is called Jak 4 and is a full nauty dog made...i would get a ps3 for this...after all there are other titles i want on it also! Okami also...A true Donkey Kong 2...It seems Miyamoto abandoned making another adventue DK which means Nintendo did...
Chains of Olympus 2
Shenmue 3
Planescape: torment 2 (well, the concept)
Chrono Break
Digital Devil saga HD
Xenogears remake with fleshed out second half (would be nice for the psp)
New Legacy of Kain (Well, they kinda said what needed to be said)
Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm should have a sequel because it still feels like half the game it should've been. They did a great job on that game, but too many characters were left out and the single player story was too short. I was expecting more cutscenes, they had one once every 10 missions or so, and for the parts with no cutscenes they filled you in with text. That took away from the experience so I hope in a Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, if they make one, they make the story mode have more of a story.
[QUOTE="Legzdins"]And vastly diverent games..... First one was good...second was mediocre. The world needs sequels to many games... Primal from PS2, as well as Ghosthunter, Mark Of Kri, The Getaway, and most importantly The Thing and Freedom Fighters.Dino Crisis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! first two were simply amazing.
hot114
Jade Empire,SSX (need a next gen one xD),possibly Sega GT cause i loved that game on the old xbox xD.
Einhander needs a sequel, ending with a cliffhanger and all. Sure Squaresoft is gone but what the hell is wrong with Square Enix, re-released the soundtrack in 2007 but not a sequel. WAITING Waiting waiting.......
Well i'm gonna say Too Human!DuckyindianaI'm gonna agree. The coop was a blast. If they fix the problems in the original game, it could be a great game. I'm pissed that they didn't even patch the original. It's problem's weren't so bad that a patch couldn't do it right.
No other game and I mean NO OTHER GAME deserves a sequel as much as No One Lives Forever does. It's so under appreciated to the point where it's criminal.Kicker_of_CansAgreed. Like I said, there doesn't seem to be any room in this industry for an intelligent female character unless it's a supporting role, Like Elana from Uncharted.
