are you serious? metriod prime came out last gen, and on a console. this isn't a fair poll

I was a pc gamer so MP1 didn't wow me at all. Crysis did a little but much more on the tech demo than the actual game which doesn't run well enough to really wow me.

i havent played crysis.

But i do distinctly remember arriving in phendrana drifts for the first time and actually saying out loud "wow" ;)

Star Wars Rogue Squadron Rogue Leader wasd a 2001 game and had beeter graphics than M1. And MGS2 had even better.

metroid prime is a stonkingly good game and the attention to detail in it is astounding. it the little things like the visor fogging up in a hot area or a flock of birds going by or bats coming out of a cave.....it is stonkingly good. one of my top 10 games ever. as an overall game...id take MP1 over crysis any day.

however on the graphics side crysis clearly takes it. my jaw kept dropping while my eyes bled fro visual overload....crysis does pretty very well (and it also a very enjoyable game...not just a pointles tech demo).

now im going to go off and imagine metroid prime running on the crysis engine. *drools and sees perfection*
