@Serioussamik
What do you have a personal vendetta against the god of war series? I already called you out on your other post pertaining to God of War. The series was brilliant, I'm glad they made it. And if you lack the fortitude to play the games because the content is too mature for you, then don't play them. No one is forcing you to. You can't be a "feeling like a heretic as you play because you're killing gods" because you are not ancient greek now are you? Therefore you are NOT a member of their religion, which means you are not a heretic for playing a video game.
You need to find a more constructive and productive way to spend your time instead of attacking video games for their mythological content integrity.

On the contrary you need to have better things to do other than misunderstanding topics and irrelevantly posting stuff to contradict people with opinions against your favorite videogame series.What do you mean by saying I'm not an ancient Greek and all.Do you want people to adore only his/her faith and favorite game and it is not nice any more to respect other's faith or opinions?
On both grounds sounds like bigotry to me.
You said you felt like a heretic as you were slaying the greek gods. Heresyis the formal denunciation of one's religion, principles or cause. Unless you still worship zeus and the rest of the olympians, then no you are not committing heresy. Your opinions, on how the god of war series, should never have been continued, are your own and you're entitled to them, but your reasoning is just not sound. You don't like slaying gods? They're notyour gods. Or is it just video game killing in general?But its okay to kill numerous other enemies in whatever games you play? Unless you stick to racing and wii type games only? Playing Mario, do you stand up on your soapbox preaching for all those poor mushroom people that Mario stomped on? I doubt it. People should adore their own faith yes, thats why it makes it special, but adoration and repsect are different things. I keep my faith, but I respect those with their own faiths, and they're free to do so.
Ok if you don't agree wid the reasoning thing it's ok.But dats what I fell and basically that has got nothing with the thread topic.Point here was after GOW 1's near perfect epicness on every grounds were improved upon every aspect by GOW 2.But the story became rather moot.So they should have created a different storyline on Greek mythology or a different game altogether IMO.If you disagree do so by all means and neither am i saying my reasoning is too sound to make this a "fact".But spare me the lectures on what I think/perceive or what should I think because people have personal opinions, you see?
