I'm perfectly calm. What I saw from your post is that you got pissed that someone corrected you. I was telling him to blow you off, because as far as I'm concerned someone who gets angry because someone corrected a false statement isn't worth arguing with.

No-ones angry here guy. I just forgot about 06 (although 07 was arguably a worse year for the DS).
[QUOTE="Fiji-Water"][QUOTE="nintendofreak_2"][QUOTE="Fiji-Water"]A lot of people.who cares...they're portables....who the hell plays handhelds?

I dont see the point at all...if your out, why play games? And if your home...why play a handheld? Just play a console or something..
Only time I ever use my PSP or DS is when im on vacation or something....or if pokechus comes out I make an exception....
If you're on a long road trip (assuming you're not driving), handhelds are perfect.
When you're at work, you can play quick games against others on break. When you're in any waiting room you can game it up (rather than twiddle your thumbs for an hour).
They're cool at home because you can play them anywhere. You can be in any chair, couch, room, or on any toilet. I like them because I'm not bound to a TV.
Plus handhelds have some pretty cool exclusives that provide many experiences not found on consoles... MegaMan Battle Network (before the series went to crap), Advance Wars, Meteos, Nintendogs, Pokemon, etc.
I agree. Also, for people in the military, they're better than consoles in some ways, for a number of reasons. Also, I love AW.
It's the ONE franchise that makes me want the DS again.
Both have big name games coming out. People are making a big deal out of Crystal Chronicles and Ninja Gaiden. Others are raving about God of War and Crisis Core. It's too early to tell what will win.MrDziekujeCrystal Chron. ive noticed it hasnt been hyped as much i thought it would be it might be a AAAE but from the way its hyped a newcomer wouldnt know it exists

In my opinion the first year was the worst year for the DS.
I had one since launch and it wasn't until a year later I actually saw more games I wanted.

I can't wait for it, but I'm not going to hype it AAA though. The franchise has to prove itself for me to do that.
Well Crisis Core is said to be nothing but sucky fan serivce according to most importers so that's out of the question.
God of War CoO is a contender.
Ninja Gaiden DS is a contender.
Dragon Quest IX is a contender if it makes it this year.
There's always a surprise game that's announced by Nintendo or SONY.

DS 07 was not bad. Pokemon, Hotel Dusk, Lunar Knights, and Legend of Zelda were good games.

Based on what we played and saw, Crisis Core looks to be delivering on the promise of the past few years. The game's visuals are impressive, both in design and tech, raising the bar for what's possible on the PSP hardware. As far as gameplay goes, Crisis Core is doing some reworking of the familiar Square battle system, and we like it on the whole, though we can take or leave the whole slot-machine thing. The story may prove to be a little confusing to anyone without a working knowledge of FFVII, but we expect it should still be possible to get into the game regardless. As far as fans go, it's hard not to get a kick out of seeing old faces from FFVII, especially a pre-"crazy times" Sephiroth. Crisis Core is slated to ship this fall in Japan. Look for more on the game in the coming months.
