pc obviously, Its crysis. You know the most graphically/technologically impressive gameshown so far. Also the CEO of crtek ( the developer) said himself crysis cant be done on the ps3 and 360 in its current form due to memory limitations.

That means that lemmings and cows shouldn't be dissing the Wii since their systems have nothing on the PC. This can be said because it's obvious that the 360 and the PS3 try to be like PCs yet do not come even close whereas the Wii detaches itself from this stereotype in many evident ways.

But if everyone had PCs that are better than the 360, we'd see greater technically superior games on the PC, simply because devs do not need to cater for the lower end spectrum.

True but this genrally happens about 2-3 years into the console race anyway, Half-Life 2 couldnt be done properly, except a really shoddy Xbox Port, same with Doom 3/Quake 4 , there was no battlefields and so forth.

Crysis / Far Cry 2 are already good examples, I would include STALKER - Clear Skies aswell, but that would be possible with texture downgrades.

Then we will see Crysis 2 ect.

Personally though, I didn't see a vast difference between PC and console games last gen. Granted, I didn't play HL2 or Doom 3 on Xbox, but textures aside, they didn't look too different from what I saw.

Consoles haven't hit a brick wall this gen either. Same with PCs. Both will continue to improve; the PC just ousting the competition as usual.

I think next gen consoles will see an increase in RAM as well, because of what the PC has shown it can do. I'm not sure what the PC will do after that though, it seems like it has all tracks covered.

360 has the best graphics so far with Gears of War. (Better then bioshock imho)

Actually 1680x1050 is almost equal to 1080p though the lemmings wouldn't like to think so! Just look at the pixel count

1680x1050 = 1.8 megapixels

1920x1080 = 2.1 megapixles

So theres really not much of a differnce there only about 14%

And 720P or 1280x720 isn't, but a bit better then 1024 by 768 which is the lowest resolution any PC gamer really uses.

720P= .9 Megapixels

1024x768= .8 Megapixels

ANOTHER thing console gamers might not notice is that the difference between 2560x1600 is actually practically just as big as the gap between 720P and 1080P (roughly double

1080P= 2.1 Megapixels

2560x1600= 4.1 Megapixels

Or compare that to the new line of monitors coming out this fall that will sport a res of

3840x2400= 9.2 Megapixels
