Blu-Ray... only because I have a PS3 though; if I had a 360 I'd like HD-DVD more.

As much as I bash Blu-Ray as a medium for games, Blu-Ray movies really are worth it in my opinion.

I use both. I don't really have a preference. Each format has things I like more than the other, but utimately the main thing I care about is watching my favorite flicks in HD picture and sound, whether the movie is on HD DVD or Blu-ray doesn't matter to me.

Blu-ray since it came with the PS3. It's great but to me, it's awkward watching movies on a console, which is why I don't use it regularly.

are blank discs cheaper? because whenever i look in best buy/circuit city catalogs on sundays hd-dvd versions are usually higher priced. ala 300 blu-ray = 30 and hd-dvd = 35

Why weird? I love movies and want access to both libraries. Like owning more than 1 game system. I want access to all the games. Not so weird to me.

dont care. i just want this bloody format war to end. god forbid they both win, consumer will just end up paying more to support both.

hollywood and the porn industry should have just put the foot down and said "were going with " the standards war should never have reached the market, it shoudl have been setteled before anything HD was released. its a disaster, an absolute farse and the sooner it end the better. and there better be a bloody winner.

Blu-Ray is the **** I don't doubt HD-DVD is just as awesome but buying the add on player for my 360 was pointless and it looked ugly. PS3 is my Multimedia Hub I love it......if only it had more games!!! lol

Neither:
Too expensive, no winner declared.

I'd also like to address a question: How much faster can you write on HD-DVD/Blu-ray compared to DVD?
Space is a benefit, but if the writing speed doesn't match the growth in space, it'll be a pain in the arse to use all that.
