I have a PS5 but think the Series X is a better overall console.

The Xbox Series X gets my vote. I like the design of it more, the user interface, controller, and the backwards compatibility is much more robust.

Games = PS5

Power = XSEX

Features = XSEX

Xbox hardware is better.

XSX. I can’t really judge the PS5,I’ve never seen it or played it’s games? If it’s anything like the PS3 forget it. I can’t even judge the PS4. Always been loyal to the Xbox brand.

Xbox has better hardware and features. PS5 wins the games category. Not much can be done about the hardware, but the games and features can always improve. So Xbox will always win the hardware category, while features and games will evolve over the generation. Xbox has done a good job with providing features like 120fps backwards compatibility and back compat in general. Quick resume. Game pass etc. But will the games arrive before it’s too late?

I hate questions like these. Best according to what metric? There are so many variables, making the question so pointless. Provide some direction/benchmark.

That stated, I have a PS5 and Switch, and whenever it becomes possible to find one, I'll have a Series X, too. PS5 will have the best software for the near future, no worries there. But I really like the Series' features (I assume the same features found on the Series X are the same as on the S -- quick resume, smart delivery).

The design all day, I rarely see my XSX because it fits neatly behind my TV, meanwhile, the PS5, while in it's own cubby, is pretty garish.

Neither system at this moment, have games I want to play that are new. I played Spiderman OG on the PS5 so far, that's it. With the XsX, I'm mainly playing cool games I find on game pass. Cyber Shadow game me so many hours, Carrion, Doughnut County, Forza 7 for a bit. Currently hooked on Dead Cells. So while XSX has no next gen games I want to play, it does have GPU with plenty of stuff I seem to get a kick out of.

It's better than last gen where I was staring at a dusty PS4 for a good two years aside from Strider. The uprezed games on both systems makes for a better transition, I still need to start up God of War on PS5

In terms of games I think the ps5 has to win it hands down so far. In terms of hardware I think Xbox has the better feature set.

@goldenelementxl: PS Now is a great value, lots of games to play. Not to mention PS Plus is there. The Gamepass kool aid is blinding people. Now playing Rage 2, Avengers, Tales of Zisteria, WWE Battlegrounds, Jump Force, World War Z, Ace Combat 7, Prey, Evil Within 2, Surge 2, Streets of Rage 4, Nioh, Borderlands 3, Detroit, and Little Nightmares. That alone pays for its price a year. We're also forgetting PS Now is way cheaper than GP. That's not even including what PS Plus brings to the table. Don't get this writing off of PS Now just because the games aren't day and date. Most of the games people are excited about are older games anyway. MS hasn't released anything new outside of Gears 5, Outriders, and The Medium. If you haven't played the game, you haven't played the game. Day One release or not.

Series S isn't doing so well. Found one of these casually at local Walmart today
