oh and to the guy who said Olimar rules your right those pikmen are incredibly strong and really fun to use to boot
Too bad Olimar can easily be killed by edgehogging, though.
I used Ike a lot in singleplayer modes, but while I like his strength, his slow attacks are far too easy to interrupt. Pit would probably end up being my main in serious multiplayer matches because his attacks are fairly fast and can ratchet up damage on enemies who get caught in them(though I imagine that an adversary worth his/her salt would just evade all of my attacks). I also might give more consideration to Toon Link since his sword plant seems to accelerate his fall compared to normal Link. (However, missing a sword plant could be bad news for either since shield-canceling doesn't seem to work in Brawl.)NamelessPlayer
It's called Lag-cancel, anyway, when WW Link hits the ground with his down air it seems to push you away from him.

You can knock your opponent off the ledge by throwing a Pikmin at him though. But you're still going to need enough Pikmin to recover.

well i mean in melee and brawl, especially brawl since he's waay better than in melee. notice how only 1 person even mentioned him in this thread![QUOTE="Kev_Unreal"][QUOTE="Silenthps"]pikachuu since smash64! he's sooo underratedSilenthps

I don't use pikachu, but I admit that Pikachu is a good character, and that he is much more powerful than he was in melee. The only thing I don't like about pikachu is that people constantly spam his thunderbolt and his electric spin move, it gets annoying.

I totally forgot but can you shield grab Pikachu while he's doing his down-A smash? Yeah, I too think that attack is overused for few players.

I don't think so, but I haven't really tried it, do I don't know for sure.
:( So many here say Ike or Marth and I'd bet maybe 2 of them have actually played a Fire Emblem game...nintendofreak_2
I'm one of those 2 :D 8)
Ike and Marth are so beastly, can you blame them?
I've already said mine, but I use Ike, then Wolf, and I try to use Ganondorf, but he was better in Melee I think.

I've already said mine, but I'm best with Ike, then Wolf.
I also like to choose Marth and Ganondorf
My 5 main characters are: Wolf, Sheik, Toon Link, Diddy Kong, and Ike.
And to nintendofreak_2. Ive played every Fire Emblem game that came out in America except for The Sacred Stones.
Luigi, ROB, and sometimes Toon Link.
I'm quite sad that they nuked Luigi's forward air smash. Best meteor in SSBM.
Am a Gannondorf guy,but wolf is a close secondvashkilla
The only move I use when I'm Ganon is his forward tilt.
