Who will have the best E3 do you think?

I think Nintendo will surprise us because I don't think we know a single first party Wii game coming out later this year. So I'm hoping for trailers of like Pikmin 3, maybe a Mario sequel, Kid Icarus, MOTHER 3 US RELEASE, Zelda Wii, Kirby Wii, something!! Then again last year they were really disappointing... but still, I hope that this year will be different.death919
I'm thinking that Nintendo have to be planning a good show this year, you know after their infamous E3.
[QUOTE="Stevo_the_gamer"]Care to explain how one can "win" an E3? What exactly determines "victory" at E3? :?colosionThe most impressive stuff maybe? But what determines or makes something more impressive than another? :?
I think we can all count out Nintendo, unless they announce like a new game for each of their good franchises. I can see Sony just unleashing a bunch of info and vids on upcoming 09 games, plus some suprise exclusives. Microsoft really has no choice but to have a great E3, 2009 for them looks bad sofar.

LOL yeah last year was terrible. >_> I was so hyped for Miyamoto's secret game and then Ravi Drums comes out and plays his ravi drums for 20 mins... *shivers* I think they've hopefully learned from their mistakes...You're getting at the fact that it is opinion based. If that was the case, System Wars would not exist.death919Just trying to shed some light that there's no way too determine who actually "wins". Whomever wins in up for you to decide in your own views and expectations.

I hope they announce some quality titles, i'm picking up a Wii soon, and if they have a good E3, it'll make it even easier to part with my hard-earned cash.

Care to explain how one can "win" an E3? What exactly determines "victory" at E3? :?Stevo_the_gamerits the E3 World Cup .... its a complicated game were one team have to mmmm well ....... and then fanboys they mmmm i don't get it either. aim not a fanboy, aim a religious person that think there is a PS3 en heaven for everyone. ok heaven has a lot of Xbox360 to , "they all die of RROD"
I'm going with Nintendo, they hinted at some great stuff last year and briefly showed a few others. Plus after Punch Out!! comes out that is pretty much it for this year from Nintendo that we know of and Punch Out!! comes out like a month before E3, fairly convient I think. Nintendo has a number of things that are up it's sleeve and could have a few other surprises. From the next Zelda for the Wii, they already announced the next DS Zelda so I'm guessing this year we are seeing Zelda Wii, Pikmin, Star Fox, Mario, Sin and Punishment 2, and a few others, Nintendo has alot of potential this year to come out and blow everyone away.
Microsoft is up next for me, they pretty got everything out from last year and now beyond third party games and a few exclusives, there isn't much going on for Microsoft. If they come out and announce some serious exclusives or get a few other perviously exclusive PS3 titles to "Jump In" like Square did last year, Microsoft has a huge chance to swoop in and win it, but alot of us are expecting something major from Microsoft since they've been tight lipped about what is coming up from them.
Sony is well, Sony I guess. We all know what to expect from them, I don't see any major surprises coming from them, we all have our hopes for what we want to be announced. Sony has been pumping alot of hype into their games and many of them have been hinted at/kinda confirmed to be in the works and its just been a waiting game for when they'll finally be announced.

Thanks for so gracefully pointing that out to me. I was merely giving incite about the inevitable spawn of comments and threads which blindly tout *insert-company-here* won E3; it happens every year.
Nothing to offer? Do you work for Microsoft? How are you sure they don't have anything under their sleeves? There's plenty to announce -- one major title that could steal the show would be Peter Jackson's Halo project, if its good enough. Been announced (X06 I believe), but no footage or anything has yet to be shown.Sony has so much while microsoft has nothing to offer.

Nintendo wins everytime acording to the mainstream news. Hell they even said last year nintendo had the best E3. I think the writers who said that should be fired or beat up or hell why not both. In the end I just want a good E3 from all of them. SInce I do own all systems.

I was wondering the same thing...
Besides, haven't all three companies publicly stated that they don't really use E3 for major announcements, unveilings, etc. anymore?
If that's the case, than a "win" at E3 seems kind of redundant.
sony is sitting on nothing, both microsoft and nitty will have a great showsurrealnumber5Sony is sitting on nothing? How the hell do you know?
Nintendo's E3: Reggie Fils-Aime will land a helicopter on the stage in a suit made of money, announce Wii Fit 2, and then fly back out again.
Microsoft's E3: Exclusive Final Fantasy XIII downloadable content will be announced, and all representitves will simply shrug when questioned about the $500billion recently sent via Fed Ex to Square Enix headquarters.
Sony's E3: Phil Harrison will make up some rubbish about how the 'Playstation brand' is expanding and doing well before escaping E3 to beg on the streets, offering to give away unsold copies of 'Lair' for some spare change.
The most impressive stuff maybe? But what determines or makes something more impressive than another? :? Well last years MS FFXIII multiplat announcement was impressive, last years Nintendo Wii Music announcement was impressive if you have no sense of what gaming is ... so I don't know?[QUOTE="colosion"][QUOTE="Stevo_the_gamer"]Care to explain how one can "win" an E3?
