Controllers > Mouse and Keyboard hkymikeNot even close. Its so much easier with keyboard mouse. Plus the bigger maps and more players on PC make this a no brainer.
[QUOTE="Inconsistancy"]PC, I think you're crazy if you pick anything else!GOGOGOGURT
Okay I guess I'm crazy because my PC can't run that demanding of a game.
Don't quote half my quote, you coulda waited a bit and bought a more capable pc, and skipped the console(s), pc's aren't expensive, unless you buy pre-built.Well PC is the right answer, but mine won't make it look even as good as the PS3 version, which has my friends list and a currently functional online (haha!).
So PS3, I know I'm one in few.
Consoles, if any. Really grown tired of military shooters now, and too many games releasing this year which are outside of that genre.Ravensmash
high five, im getting tired of military fps also....this will be the end for awhile,im just burned out

I just can't think of anything that endearing about them....shoot people, die, respawn.... I feel burnt out too hahaIf you have a PC capable then I see no reason why you wouldn't pick PC. PC for me, can't wait to land some choppers on some snipers.nutcrackr...friends?
360 and PS3 though I would prefer to just get it for the PS3 but I have cousins who game solely on the box. :(

Wouldn't that be a reason to NOT pick the PC version? Because that's my reason. :|

Not everyone has a million dollar PC, the only system I have capable of playing that game is the Xbox360.
Inconsistancy
A pc capable of running it easily today isn't much more expensive than the consoles at launch...
True
I though a powerhouse $2000 PC would be needed but I built myslef a rig a few months ago for just under $700 that runs every game at high res.
AFter playing bc2 on xbox since launch and then getting it on PC i now see why pc "elitist" claim that is the way to play the game.
I totally agree. I do like playing a lot of my games on ps3 but FPS for me at least are different.
I'm no PC gamer, so I can rule that out completely.
It depends which console version is superior and it depends on some factors (none of it concerns online play):
Getting it on PC. If my friends are too poor to afford a gaming PC, screw them.
spacesheikh
haha no s*** right? I dont see how hard it is to make friends in the communities on PC. I've still got friends around the world I met playing cs 1.6. Join a server, dont be a **** and you can find people to play with.

You're a **** tool if u get this game on console lol. Such a waste.

Many of us actually prefer to smell the outside sping air and take a break for a bit.

Yes, do it. But Battlefield 3 on consoles will most likely be like a spring walk to lol.

Which gives us more time to spring walk away and outside of the basement :)
PC all the way. Will get it on Steam the second it is up.
Better graphics, higher framerate, mod tools (fingers crossed), dedicated server, 64 player option, mouse and keyboard, DICE loves the PC, etc...
I really feal bad for those who only get to experience this game on consoles.
PC is the only way to go if you have a capable rig.
Mine should be able to run it well, even if not at max settings.
PC. Normally I get my games on consoles thanks to the trophies/achievements I've racked up, friends list (almost no PC gamer friends) and ease of use and access. BF3 though is made for PC pretty much and this time around about half of my friends are even upgrading their rigs to experience the full 64 player experience.
