Not really, they just started making sequals to their Final Fantasy games. The only thing they have problems with are remaking the earlier 6 final fantasy.

They have released many spin-offs for some of their games, however.

Dragon Quest has had quite a few spin-offs, though granted not many have been released outside of Japan.

I cant believe StarCraft 2 was mentioned. Releasing a game in 98 ant then 10 years later is not milkage. Mario Derp 10 yes. Starcraft 2 no.

Not all Zeldas were "something happened to the princess." Link's Awakening had no Princess Zelda, period, and Wind Waker had a rather different storyline.

I'm sure people could argue that there have been nearly as many MegaMan games as Mario games. Mario games are all different from each other. MegaMan isn't that much different. Capcom has also released a few MegaMan collections and re-released different versions of their Resident Evil serires. RE1 has been remade and re-released 4 times now.

You might as well say the same of anyfranchise that possesses asequel then. There's a difference from milking and putting out something with high quality. The whole concept of milkage is just putting a game out there with (insert franchise) and everyone will get it because it is (insert franchise). People get Blizzard games because they know it's a quality game (even if it's not your kind of game)

It was the campaign.....it had almost as many missions as the original game for a fraction of the cost.

I am aware, i have played them all exept the 2d ones, but still the game is very similar u always get the same items u visit 3 mayor temples, forest, water and sometimes something else but its all very similar, the formula hasnt really changed much except for graphical upgrades.

Guild Wars isnt really an MMO...it uses instancing...and is really reffered to as an online RPG....there are free MMO's out their....but they make their money by selling objects to people...

for madden not really getting better. but its a sports game.

overall ea milks a lot in other things then madden like nfs and well pretty much anything they touch.

ELECTRONIC ARTS

The will milk a franchise until it's t!ts are dry dead, hanging on the floor and all wrinkled with massive pimples.

Low and behold it is an ugly site to witness what EA will do to a game in order to make money. Harlem pimps have better reputation of exploitation for cash than these fellas.

Not only will they re-hash the same old stuff to death but EA has found ways to sell games without ever making a simple improvement or upgrade. Madden is the biggest prostitute on the market right now. Every year they just update the roster, change a few names and add bogus ratings then put a fresh face on the cover and there you have the BRAND NEW Madden game. Like any good pimp, EA knows how to limit competetion so they went out and bought exlusive rights to the hookers for a bizillion dollars. Now that is some real hustlin right there!!!

Well I honestly have no idea as to why Blizzard is up there. They've made, what, maybe a little more than 10 games since they've been a company? Not only that but they are all excellent games are always widely praised.

Anyway, I voted Nintendo mainly because of all the Mario sports titles and party games. Sure they are still quality games but there are over 100 Mario games with only 5 from the main series. That, to me, is rediculous.

Square Enix has gone over board with how many Final Fantasy's that have been made. The main series is not what I'm talking about, but rather all the spin-offs (much like with Mario). There have been so many FF games, I think there might even be more than there are Mario games. They've remade FF 1 TWICE, and are remaking the series again (and it doesn't look like they are going to stop). Then there are all the spin-off titles such as Tactics (great series actually), Crystal Chronicles (I don't really like this one) and many more. The Dragon Quest series doesn't have as many spin-offs that I'm aware of but there are some.

I also have to say Koei (or is it Konami?) with their Dynasty Warriors games. Each one is almost exactly the same, just with a few new characters and slightly updated graphics. Then they make a spin-off of the main series and put "Extreme" at the end of it or something to that effect. At least with Nintedno and Squenix you get different play styles.
