which should i get in july, ps3 or 360?

in july im going to get one of either.

BUT first of all, forget about the price & the built in blu ray on the ps3.
so pretend that both of them were free and the ps3 didn't have blue ray.
Now which should i get, ps3 or 360?

i would say the the 360 but since you buy it in july, the ps3 is the better choice.

I never understand the use of asking such questions in here.. i always assume people know what to get for themselves instead of having others telling them which goods to buy...

also when getting a console there are 5 RULES to follow

1) Inform yourself on the games libraries for each system you're interested in..

2) Check the upcoming EXCLUSIVES games coming out shortly

3) Check which features you'll probably use which are available on each system (Gives added value for the money paid)

4) If you're into MP gaming check/try friends' systems and get the one most of your friends own, or else you can always make new 'online' friends to play with..

5) MOST IMPORTANT rule :- Never ask for help on which game/system to buy in a SW Forum.. it will just get filled with fanboys praising or bashing systems..

why not? at least he finds out the truth about each console. MS is not going to tell him about the rrod problem, disk errors, etc on 360, or lack of exclusives for this year.

If you have no problem with linear games with small levels like Heavy Rain, Uncharted, Killzone 2, MGS4 etc and don't care for RPG's much then PS3 would be fine too, but 360 has many to offer in small level linear games too (Gears 2), so get any of them

If you like RPG's and huge open world games like WRPG's, then xbox 360 is by miles the only choice if you ask me, also 360 has big games, with 50-100 hours gameplay, something very rare on PS3 in next gen offerings (sure it has Disgaea 3, but ...)
