Heh, I remember all the crying when Bioware sent this game to the consoles... Oh, Hermits can be funny sometimes :)Shafftehr
Normally I'm not into the whole PC elitism thing, but between the control scheme and community features there's a correct platform to play Dragon Age on.
Xbox 360 for two reasons.
1) I can't run it one my PC and can't afford to upgrade it for a while
2) I'm getting Mass Effect 2 on Xbox 360, and I want the bonus stuff.
I'd like to have a graphics card good enough to run it on my PC, but since I don't want to spend money on one, I'll buy it for 360.

Ooo, what's all this about?
Limited Edition of Dragon Age: Origins comes with bonus content for Mass Effect 2 when it releases. And I want as much as I can get for Mass Effect 2.

If you buy Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2 for the same platform you'll unlock the Dragon Blood Armor that you can wear in both games.

The processor is my main issue. I'd still have to spend $200 to upgrade my GPU, but a new GPU/PSU/CPU is way too much.

That was actually a bit of a misunderstanding caused by everyone jumping the gun when EB/Gamestop posted the LE. You get the Blood Dragon Armor for ME 2(As well as The Stone Prisoner DLC for DA:O) if you you buy Dragon Age Origins new, whether it be the regular edition or collector edition. But it doesn't really matter what system you buy DA:O for. When you redeem the Blood Dragon Armor for DA: O, it'll be tied to your Bioware account at the new social site and from there, you'll be able to redeem it on whatever system you want for ME 2.

Oh. Well, I was getting the Limited Edition anyway. And I'm not spending $300-$400 to upgrade my GPU/PSU/CPU for just one game. And I'm not waiting for this game either.
Xbox 360, even though I have a gaming PC I just can't sit for long hours playing anything on it besides MMOs

Fair enough. Just wanted to make sure you weren't buying the LE just for the ME 2 perks. That was a deal breaker for getting the LE for a lot of people over at the DA: O forums. Didn't really affect me though since I was going to get the LE one way or another like you.

i was getting the limited edition anyway. I'm a sucker for Collector's Editions. I wish Borderlands released a Collector's Edition.

Xbox 360 will still sell the most. Hahaha.

So? Will that help you enjoy the game more?
That's probably not including digital and worldwide PC sales figures though. Expect them to be quite close in sales.[QUOTE="psn8214"][QUOTE="bphan"]

The 360 version better suits my playstyle. The combat will feel a bit more actiony and the tactical view, IMO, kills immersion. I'm playing an RPG here, not an RTS.

Oh dear.
Did you start gaming yesterday or something?

I don't see how you're making that connection. It's just my preference.
I take it you've never played PalneScape Torment, Baldur's Gate, FallOut 1,2, Never Winter Nights? The 360 version better suits my playstyle. The combat will feel a bit more actiony and the tactical view, IMO, kills immersion. I'm playing an RPG here, not an RTS.

I've played NWN and didn't like it. Probably means I wouldn't like the rest of them. I'm not saying they aren't RPG's just because of the tactical view, just that it's not a playstyle I enjoy.

Oh I get it. I can't really say I liked the views on FallOut 1 and 2. But I got use to it.The 360 version better suits my playstyle. The combat will feel a bit more actiony and the tactical view, IMO, kills immersion. I'm playing an RPG here, not an RTS.

Then play the PC version, but don't use the tactical view.
