Wii U, but it wasn't exactly good either. 2016 needs to be a slam dunk all around.
Not a fan of Splatoon, so it was really just Yoshi, Xenoblade and Devil's third for me :/ Still plowing through Xeno though.

PC by far.
The consoles were shit.

It was a great year for PC:
+ Cities: Skylines
+ Her Story
+ The Age of Decadence
+ Act of Aggression
+ Anno 2205
+ Sword Coast Legends
+ Hard West
+ Prison Architect
+ Satellite Reign
+ Star Citizen Alpha 2.0
+ Might &Magic Heroes VII
+ the BEST version of all multiplat games
:)
+Kerbal Space Program
+Heroes of the Storm
+Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide
...I will only add these as this could just keep going, and going, and going.
I guess that just about wraps up January 2015 for PC, anyone want to start February's list? ;-)
I don't care, my Dreamcast had the best year for me, I used it more than anything.
What exactly are you still playing on it? I loved Dreamcast, but I don't really have the desire to go back and play many games on it. I find it hard to believe that with all of modern gaming, you have spent more time with the Dreamcast than anything else. This has to be a serious exaggeration or an extreme case of delusional nostalgia.
Anyway... PC had the best year as always.
I own like 140 games for it, like 100 are still in my backlog, but recently I've been playing the following. You also have to take into consideration that I own about 1,500 games in total for all of my systems, so I have a lot to do that is not current generation oriented.
Resident Evil Code: Veronica
Resident Evil 2
Crazy Taxi 2
Sonic Adventure 2
Power Stone 2
Carrier
Re-Volt
Toy Commander
D2
Dynamite Cop!
I can understand the RE games, but the other games I personally wouldn't waste time on in this day and age. I like to play through all my backlog too, but it gets to the point where you just have to accept that some titles are just not worth playing and you will never get through them. I would rather play titles from my modern backlog than the old ones. However, if you can still find enjoyment in those titles, that is all that matters.
The game lists PC owners post to brag about always look like stuff they grabbed from the 99cents bin.
I know right? It's crazy how this shit collectively trashed consoles this year in quantity and quality.
Delusional PC fanboy posts like this always remind me the classic Los Angeles/San Francisco exchange:
San Francisco resident: "Everybody in San Francisco hates people from Los Angeles. What do Los Angeles people think of us?"
Los Angeles resident: "We don't"
At least Microsoft's 15 year long failure in the console market is fun to make fun of.
Am i a delusional PC fanboy?

The question was kind of rhetorical.
@khoofia_pika: haha to many hermits here lol
This is why console peasants like myself resent PC gaming ;__;

It's kind of hard to make a case for any of the consoles in the face of so many high-scoring PC exclusives.

Agreed. And that's been true for a long time too.
I have all 3 consoles, and even though I picked up the Xbox the last couple months of the year, I gotta say I enjoyed that the most.
Currently playing "state of the decay"

If you're interested in strategy games, I guess PC is good, but since I don't want to miss out on both Playstation and Xbox exclusives (or deal with crappy PC ports and graphics aren't everything to me).

Other than Arkham Knight this year, you can hardly name any major multiplat big releases that didn't have their best version on the PC.

One good thing about PC gaming is that you really don't have to spend 60 bucks or more for an at least remotely decent game. ;)
I think Xbone had a very solid year... I definitely feel satisfied as an Xbox fan. And excited for this year too.
I'll just post this again to save everyone the trouble:

Lol, deal with crappy PC ports?
Nevermind that 99.9% of all multi platform games this year ran and looked better on PC than on consoles. Talk about crappy ports, with many games running at sub 30 FPS until as far as 6 months after release, on Ps4/Xbone, and some never being fixed. Also ignoring the fact that the list of PC game exclusives this year encompass not just strategy, but RPG's, action games, platformers, stealth games, simulation, space action games, and several other genres.
These kinds of posts just make you console gamers look mighty salty. And there's no reason to be, consoles certainly didn't have as many amazing exclusives this yea,r but what they had was pretty damn good. Bloodborne and Mario Maker alone are making me want to sell my Xbone for a PS4 and WiiU. instead of trying to downplay PC (and looking like an idiot in your attempt), why not list the games you feel make a stronger case for a particular console?
wouldn't that make for a better discussion?
