Which system has the best RPG's?

That could potentially fall under the Wii category because of the VC. Hopefully the VC SNES section gets some more RPG's soon because even though I didn't put classic consoles on this list, I agree with you. SNES was the golden age of RPG's.

But let's try sticking to the list of modern consoles please, everyone.

FFVIII: 9.5

FFIX: 8.9

FFX: 9.3 (My favourite one)

FFX-2: 8.3*

FFXI: 8.2*

FFXII: 9.0

*These two dont really count X-2 was a sequal to X and XI was a MMORPG

and if u notice Final Fantasy does its best when it gets to a new console:

VII ps1 just started

X ps2 just started

now its gonna be

FXIII and FF versus XIII ps3 just started

i'd go with DS. now with these dragon quest games jumping over, throw in ASH, FF III, and all of those GBA games, it's perfect for the RPG gamer.

PC, though I wouldn't include nwn (original campaign) as one of the best greatest RPG ever made...

It was rather linear.... and the forced go fetch (insert names) items quests annoyed the hell out of me.

yeah. but if i had to choose from the poll, ps3 will have the best rpg's, and it has the ability to play the best rpgs from last gen on ps2.

most JRPG's will be coming out on the PS3.. and since you didn't list PS2, ill go with that. I have not played a single memorable western Rpg in my lifelegendbyname

PS3>360 (not sure DS, Wii, etc.). FF13, FFv13, White Knight all look like very promising games.

Edit: Anyone who puts Mass Effect, Lost Oddyesy and Eternal Sonata>FF13, FFv13, and White Knight needs to think some more.
