which system has the most momentum? ps3 or 360?

which system is coming out with the best first party titles and which do you think will have the best future this gen?

i personally think the ps3

With FF13 coming this winter and maybe GT5...could be, could be.

Ps3, best of all i dont need worry about disc read error when i try enjoy the games :P

I think the 360 still has strong momentum, based on exclusive DLC and some Multiplats, but is slowing down considerably...but, the PS3 is picking up momentum like a runaway train down the side of a mountain. If things continue going the way they are, the 360 will be in trouble.

I don't know, but I feel that the PS3 gets some of its sales due to it having a blu-ray player, and in order for the PS3 to be the same price as the 360, it probably couldn't be sold with a blu-ray player due to manufacturing costs, because of this it would probably loose some of its sales, but gain some aswell due to a lower price.

- Take Forza 1 and GT4 for example. Some people will have you believe Forza 1 is a better game by fact. But it isn't. It's just better by 'popular opinion'.

It beat out 360 last year, didn't it? This year looks like an annihilation.

Try coming back when MS actually announces something to look forward to in the 360 :P

Neither, gaming has been boring lately.

IMO, PS3, the 360 hasn't had any huge hits lately like the PS3, although, that in no way, negates the 360's library.

Well, considering 360 outsells PS3 every month, it is clearly 360

It has the best version of multipltforms, the biggest upcoming exclusives and console exclusives and the biggest game library with huge quality titles, than short shooters only

And costs 199$, half the PS3 price at that, and every model has BC

The 360 had a great start but the PS3 is starting to gain some momentum as well.

Now, for the people who actually play games...
The PS3 currently looks set to win out in quality exclusives, however, that could all change at E3, so don't count the 360 or Wii out.

And Disclaimer - I don't agree with many of GS scores, however, this is System Wars, where only GS scores count, so we use those.

Do yall really think the momentum the OP was talking about had ANYTHING TO DO WITH SALES? Really, I mean Really?

With the release of KZ2 in February and the reviews of the European release of Demon Souls and then the upcoming titles from Sony with Infamous, Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2, GOWIII, GT5, I think its without a doubt the PS3 carrying the torch this year NO matter what MS does good or bad, but with the bad scoring exclusives they have been releasing this year they have a huge hill to climb.

At this point in time I would put the PS3 having quality titles and the 360 putting out quantity (shovel ware). Hence the ps3 having the momentum, no matter the sales. Alot of people have bought wii's also but that doesn't mean it is a quality console to purchase.
