Which system is better for JRPGS, Vita or 3DS?

First of all, I live in Europe which has a smaller chance of getting JRPG's than NA. Sometimes it just takes years...but I am talking about my psp experiences.

titles which have yet to be confirmed to be released outside japan (correct me if I am wrong):

-bravely default

-rune facotory 4

-monster hunter 3

-monster hunter 4

-...

Good thing is we'll get fire emblem. I'd like to have that game.

Bravely Default could be one of the biggest system sellers in handheld history

There are two reason why this would not get localized

1. Square closes down

2. Square goes crazy

Vita is better for everythingthemajormayor

It's better at getting no games that's for sure.

You looking for New Games? Cause for both 3DS and Vita there isn't much in the JRPG department for those two.

Top ones I can think of for 3DS and Vita are Disgaea 3 and Tales of Abyss 3D.

If you want Past Games, Vita's Shop store has LOADS of JRPG PSP titles to choose from like All the Disgaea Games or the Persona Games or Phantom Brave and the 3DS shop as a few, but with it's backwards compatiblity you can go and try to find some JRPGs that were on the DS and play them like Radient Historia or Solatorobo.

The only JRPG that looks remotely care worthy on handhelds right now is Bravely Default and that game is oldschool style.

Right now I'd say it's far too soon to tell either way. Though I'm certain both will have a good lybriary of Jrpgs in the coming future.

Neither of them really excell in this area at the moment. Probably the 3DS has a few more than the Vita, and have a few more on the horizon too. But if you're intending for only jrpg gameplay, you may as well wait until there is a bigger library to judgge by and then see which has more/which has the ones you prefer.

Yeah Capcom isn't exactly friendly when it comes to localization.

Bravely Defauly => 3DS

That old school style is the main reason why it is so amazing and why it is my top anticipated game in years

Reminds me of my still best game of all time, FF9

Old school is a billion times better than the new garbage like FF13, that are a million steps back in every way

Thank god there are still some old school games that actually are amazing and not "innovative" garbage

I would gladly get a 3DS even if Bravely Default was its only game, it seems that amazing
