PS 3 was my most favourite system last gen. Still replay or buy now cheaper last gen games on it very much :)
Well? :)

Mine was Wii. I went thru so many stages of life thru that thing. I went from dudebro to Nintendo drunk party pro. Then started to get into Third Party more. Then sobered up and became a Nintendo Fanboy.
Wii was mostly shovelware with a handful of good games (but too many with forced motion controls)
360 was phenomeonal but quickly died off after it's first 4 years.
PS3 started off horribly and gradually improved with updates, price cuts and a continous flow of exclusive games across it's entire lifespan.
PS3 wins
I had PC/DSi/PSP/PS3 but I mostly played just ps3 because PC fried(overclocking gone wrong). So PS3, but I'm taking a liking to the 360 and wii games I missed out.
PS3: The Last of Us, Demon's Souls, Killzone 2&3, the Uncharted games, the Ratchet and Clank games, Little Big Planet 1&2, inFamous 1&2, Resistance 1&2 (I didn't care for 3), the MotorStorm games, Heavy Rain, Heavenly Sword, Beyond: Two Souls, GOW III, MGS4, Batman: Arkham Asylum/City, the Mass Effect games, GTA IV, Dark Souls, RDR, Deadspace 1&2, Burnout: Paradise, Oblivion, The AssCreed games, Borderland 1&2, and Bioshock 1&2.
It was a pretty good generation.

You forgot all PS 2 greatest Hits HD on PS 3 ( Ico & SOTC, DEvil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid Trilogy, God of War Trilogy, Ratchet & Clank , Sly Cooper, Jak & Daxter, Final Fantasy X/X-2 ) :P
360 over PS 3? O.o Thought you like liked your PS and Nintendo consoles most lol
I was a huge Xbox 360 fanboy. It is one of my favorite consoles of all time. All these newcomers to the forum who keep trying to brand me as an Xbox hater don't have a clue.
Anyway, I really loved the PS3 too. It was very closely matched with Xbox 360 for my money, but 360 holds up better in the end, imo.

Ahhh! Didn't knew that Char :)
360. Had plenty of games I loved and some shared with PC before I ever had a capable PC not to mention the Arcade titles that I enjoyed.
PS3 was right up there with some of my favorite times, mostly Single player.
An ex had a Wii and I played a few games on it. My intro to Zelda, SMG were the highlights.
The PS3, it got so many good games. The only standout games on 360 that PS3 didn't get are Dead Rising, Halo 3 ODST Reach and 4, and Gears
Plus some of my favorite PS2 games got remastered on it- and PS2 graphics and controls aged so terribly.
The Wii has a couple special games on it too, but the motion controls ultimately held it down
During the generation it was the Wii at first, then late 2009 onward it was the Ps3. Now it's the Wii, lots of gems on the console and it was BC with the gamecube which is my favorite console.
Owned PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 last gen, and I enjoyed PC gaming the most, mainly due to games that weren't available on Consoles or were ported later, especially towards the beginning of the generation.
FEAR: Extraction Point, Crysis + Warhead, STALKER trilogy, Company of Heroes, World in Conflict, Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty + Heart of the Swarm, Shadow Warrior, The Witcher 1 + 2, Total War: Medieval 2 + Empire + Shogun 2 + Nepoleon + Expansions, Diablo 3, Torchlight 2, The Book of Unwritten Tales, Amnesia 1 + 2, Sins of Solar Empire, Dawn of War 2, Several adventure games from Daedalic, Supreme Commander and so on.
On other hand, on Consoles, I really enjoyed Uncharted 2, The Last of Us, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Halo 3 (Played Mass Effect and Alan Wake on PC) but none of these Consoles came close to PC, as far as I am concerned.
I thought all the systems had great points, but the most memorable game experiences were on Wii, 360, and PC.
I loved the DS and PSP too. They were like a mini Super Nintendo and PS1. Unfortunately, the PSP seemed to stop getting good games after a few years. At least it lasted longer than the Vita.
Played more XBox 360 then anything else, but still got a healthy dose of the PS3 too. Games like Dragon's Crown & Puppeteer kept me coming back for more. Last gen was a great time to be a gamer. Even though the Wii sold more units, it pretty much died out on me after Mario Galaxy 2 and Zelda: Twilight Princess.
It's hard to say. Most of my top games came from Wii so I'll probably remember it most, but PS3 had so many strong multiples
Wii top tier
-Donkey Kong Country Returns
-The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
-Metroid Prime 3 Corruption
-Super Mario Galaxy 2
-New Super Mario Bros. Wii
PS3 Top Tier
-Batman Arkham City
-Ultra Street Fighter 4
-Dark Souls
-Ratchet and Clank a Crack in Time
The Xbox 360 by far. My Xbox 360 probably got 10 times more play time than my Wii and PS3 combined last gen. It had the best controller, it had the best online service, it had the best OS, it delivered the best innovations, it had the best versions of multiplats, and I loved all of the indie and retro games on Xbox Live Arcade.
The Wii had some good exclusives, but I felt a lot of Wii games were ruined by forcing waggle controls where they were not needed. I also loved the Virtual Console service, but felt Nintendo could have done more with it.
The PS3 had some of my favorite exclusives from last gen, but I felt it was inferior to the Xbox 360 in every other way from controller to innovations to OS to online service to marketplace to DLC to multiplats to indie games, the PS3 was outclassed by the 360 in all of these areas.
