Not really interested in a new next-gen system, so with that state of mind should I grab an Nintendo 3DS XL and some games for now? I know there's not much out for the wii-u now. I had a ps3 and gta V it's pretty cool.

Yeah I had a ps3 and a 360 for alittle also. I know those game libraries all too well, especially since I am a hardcore PC gamer at the moment too.

Ok maybe this will help, I don't want an xbox 360 or ps3, had or still have them. I am into all types of games, I love rpgs, adventures, even sports dude.

The 3DS is worth buying for Fire Emblem: Awakening + the massive selection of other games for it.

XL is great, I mean I haven't even had mine a year and I've found plenty to keep my busy, Ocarina of Time, Star Fox, Luigi's Mansion, Mario Kart 7, Soul Hackers, Devil Survivor Overclocked, SMT4, Fire Emblem Awakening, and I've Ace Attorney 5, Zelda: Link To The Past II, and Devil Survivor 2 to look forward to. Hopefully in the future Nintendo releases a 3DS remake of Majora's Mask, and Atlus release some more SMT games. I'd be really happy if they ever got around to releasing a 3DS remake of Tetrisphere from the N64. Also, I never had an XL DS so being able to play my older DS games on a larger screen is a bonus.
