I personally enjoy the PS3 version more, just because very few people have mics. The overall crowd seems to be a little older/more mature than the Xbox Live crowd. And yes, I used to own it for both systems (sold my 360 version). Dual Shock 3 feels great for COD4, but then again...it's always been my favorite controller.

Why did you start a topic up from November 2007?

I have COD4 for both system. I would say the 360 controller is better for most games but after playing so long on both system on the same game i came to the conculsion that what ever am used to is the better controller. If i play loads on one system then it always feel weird for a few minutes while you get used to it again on a different controller.

Why not?

I do agree to a point re the control ( I have both a PS3 and 360 also) and after a little adjustment the PS3 control feels acceptable........ That is until you back to back the same game, day and night difference. PS3 control = frustration...... I'd better add this is purely my owm opinion :)

pc version is soooooooooo much superior period, im loving the m/k setup makes you play so much better...but you are asking about the 360 and ps3 version correct? well i happen to have the 360 version also. i dont have the ps3 version but i have quite a few friends who do... i'll tell you right now buddy, there isnt a significant difference. maybe the ps3 version may have the better graphics, but i'll be honest it is to hard to tell the difference. i would honestly suggest you base your pick on the controller you like best for first person shooters, and also based off of your friends who play online.

I have CoD4 for PS3, I haven't played it on 360 or PC. The game is easily the most played game I have from this gen (on-line). Paying for 4 maps was quite annoying, but probably my only problem with the game itself.

Which version?

Well for me it was the PC.

Better visuals, better controls, better online, use made content and no microtransactions for additional developer content.

Though I did borrow the 360 version from a friend before I bought the PC one, its good, though the difference between the two is surprisingly jarring in a few departments.

Between the two console versions, the 360 without a doubt has the better graphics, lighting and performance. Achievements add a ton of replay value and the 360's controller is undeniably better for FPS's. Online is better on the 360, of course, because of Xbox Live.

1) CoD4 is one of the multiplats that is disputable as to who has the better graphics, lighting and performance. (from the comparisons on GS I believe that PS3 holds the advantage)

2) CoD4 has its own achievement system.

3) controller is preference.

4) on-line experience will vary from person to person.

fact is.. 360 and PS3 v. are very close! going overboard one way or the other is just plane fanboyism.

I personally would have picked PC if I had a better computer
