PS3, because I have a better arcade stick for it. And who uses controllers for fighters? Pfft!BioShockOwnzI know right. :P Though I haven't had a good arcade stick for too long, it feels much more natural to use the arcade stick over a controller. Its like KB + M in an FPS. :P
Definitely the PC. I want to be able to play it online for as long as possible with just about any controller or stick I want. That just isn't possible with consoles.farrell2kJust hope it has online to begin with because I somehow doubt it wil. If it does then you will have to deal with all the lag from players with not so good computers. I can't stand that. i don't have a PS3 so 360 for me. can't wait for this game.
[QUOTE="Dingerious"]The Wii version. Oh wait, that's right, the common sense train hasn't arrived at Capcom station yet. My bad.Uptown
its common sense NOT to put this on the wii. #1 it will look worse. #2 it will control worse. #3 the online play will be nonexistant.
1. it's stylized. Nobody's falling for that gimmick of an "argument". 2. Classic Controller 3. meh[QUOTE="Dingerious"]The Wii version. Oh wait, that's right, the common sense train hasn't arrived at Capcom station yet. My bad.Uptown

I hope you're kidding man. Capcom can downgrade the graphics and make it look decent enough for the Wii.
It'd be looking like this:

2. Not everyone owns the classic controller so they'd have to figure out a way to design it with the wiimote and nunchuck in mind.

Wii's not powerful enough to handle a 2.5d fighter? wat?

except the game itself is not a 2.5D game....the game is fully 3D rendered, just on a 2.5 D camera perspective.

1. Not important. If it were, Smash Brothers wouldn't have outsold and outscored every fighter you've played this gen.
2. Not everyone owned a balance board, a guitar hero guitar, or a wii wheel. I doubt the wii audience would mind.
3. Glad to know you're making progress.

Obviously if it could, they would have done it. The graphics still look really nice, so they would have to make very obvious dumbing down for the Wii.[QUOTE="Dingerious"][QUOTE="ermacness"]or maybe the wii just isn't powerful enough to handle a game like this at it's original stateUptown

So you're telling me that the wii can't handle a 3D-rendered 2.5D camera game?
I get the feeling you're about to say something irrevocably stupid, but I'll sit back and enjoy it anyway.

the animations,, the the graphical effects, the online, and the detail on the stages and characters? NO. Just look at how they FUBARED SSBB online, not to mention that SSBB is great for the wii with graphics, it can't hold a candle to what the ps3 and 360 can do, and that game was bricking wii's[QUOTE="Uptown"][QUOTE="Dingerious"] 1. it's stylized. 1. outsold and outscored. lol. Sales =/= good game. Everyone knows Smash Bros. for wii was underwhelming. I owned it and traded it in....it didnt have the lasting appeal of the gamecube one at all.
2. What? Those games came bundled with guitars (GH/RB), steering wheels (MK) and balance boards (WiiFit)
3. Wii online is awful.
There's effects in this shot alone that the Wii cant do.
Im getting the 360 version (since its the console I have) and a fightpad ($40). I dont want to spend $80 or twice for a fightstick.
So far, the only counter-response I'm getting is "bu bu bu GRAFIX!!!!" And a few quips about online, but that doesn't explain why it shouldn't go on a system full of users who clearly don't care.
Is there a legitimate reason? Anyone?

1. Here we ignore facts and argue with "bu bu i disagree". I'll consider this argument closed.
2. And you paid extra for the bundle in two out of three of them. The Wii audience will. not. care.
3. Okay. Still doesn't matter.

Dingerious
you just added to the list of reasons....people who dont care. Capcom geared this game towards the hardcore SF fans....not fans who dont care about using an unresponsive control scheme with borked online networking.

the fact of the matter is this...you're bitter the wii gets no good multiplat titles...and its because of its shortcomings. If the wii had no shortcomings RE5, Dead Space, BioShock, mirror's edge, prince of persia and so forth would be on the system because afterall, it has the largest install base. Why cant we use the wii's shortcomings as a reason this game isnt on the Wii....when it IS the reason?

Who would want this on Wii? seriously why would Capcom waste their time and money on the Wii. Not everyone has one of those classic controllers so they will have to make it work with whatever controller the wii uses. That's a waste of time right there.[QUOTE="KGB32"]neither, im not gonna pay 60 bucks just to get my ass whooped by some SF vetTick660
I got my s*** pushed in on the SNES version. I cant imagine how much better people are now!

Pretending that the wii audience wouldn't care about a quality fighter on a system were the last quality fighter sold around 8 million copies is, well...a little bit naive. Oh yeah, and the online implementation for that title sucked.
Swing and a miss.
