@Bread_or_Decide: LOL ? for what? Other people's approval? I'd rather just move on to a different, better game like I did, the Witcher 3.
@ConanTheStoner: The soul games kinda have attitude implemented in the enemies. Sometimes they go a whole 3 mins barely attacking. Other times they just dont stop lol
Sounds like you got lucky whith the kings

Hades in GoW3.
The camera angle sucked or something. The couple of times I've played through that game - every time I nearly through my TV out the window.

Did you forget visceral attacks?
There are several bosses that kick my ass several times, but I usually either quit the game because I didn't like it that much anyway or I usually beat them after a few tries.
There are only a few recent games where a boss really kicked my ass. The worst of them is a boss in Eternal Sonata. I really loved the game, but I just couldn't get past this one boss. After hours of "powerleveling" I still had no chance. At some point I just left the game out of frustration even though I loved it.
Another example I remember is a boss in Drakengard 3. It is pretty much a rythm level where you had to be perfect while not having any optical indication on when to press, the scene was extremly long and had some cheap notes, like one when the characters started talking as if you finished the level.

No, I just suck.
The first one that comes to mind is the final form of Sigma from Mega Man X...the rest of the game was not bad but man, that one took me at least seven hours to beat...
barrrioth from MH3 comes to mind (not ultimate, they eased up on the difficulty curve. 3 on the wii). i couldnt get past him.
either i would run out of time before i could kill him or i would run out of health.
even online with a group of 4 we couldnt beat him (the groups fault. clearly i was brilliant :P).
if i took the nuclear option and brought traps, explosives and so on then i probably could have done it but its not the monster hunter way. well ok....actually it is the monster hunter way but i dont like doing it that way. stupid pride :S.
i also have a couple of weird ones where i absolutely get destroyed the first time i face certain bosses then i absolutely wail on them in the rematch. e.g.: the first boss in skyward sword. even when fighting him in a second playthrough. i knew how to beat him. still got smashed the first time and barely took a hit the second time.
ridley in metroid prime.
Shahdee - Prince of Persia: Warrior Within (or, the nickname I gave her "Super Femmy Frieza"). Damn, she is annoying and still the reason I haven't back to Warrior Within yet.

Why don't you try co-op?
@93BlackHawk93: I can always go back to it. I just don't find it fun anymore. Its not like I can pop it in and start right outside the battle. I enjoyed Demons, Dark souls in their day. I just don't find it fun to struggle with games like these anymore. Like Miyazaki himself, my time with these are done. I'm too old to give a shit about pressing on in a game if it isn't fun to me anymore.
