Following the idea of the-very-best's poll about 3 highly anticipated Wii games (http://au.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=25518015), I've decided to do my own for the 360.

I'll go with GTA IV. I've never been a HUGE fan of sandbox titles.

I tend to get sick of GTA games fairly quickly, so GTA will probably be the least enjoyable for me.

If we go by GS ratings history Mass Effect is going to score the lowest. Of course we won't know until they all come out.

GTA has scored quite highly since III on GS along w/ the Halo series, but Bioware titles often end up scoring in the 8's alot of the time.

Going by my play time of their last games, GTA will be the worst for me. Worst out of these games, it's great compared to most other games.

I think GTAIV and Halo 3 will be better than Mass Effect.

I'm not really sure why but Mass Effect doesn't look incredibly interesting to me.

I think Halo 3 will be like Twilight Princess, great, but disappointing in some areas.

Halo 3.......the last 2 games have very little actual gameplay and i doubt that will change with the 3rd installment. Halo classifies as more of a "psuedo-movie" in that for the most part you are simply watching, viewing, experiencing whats going on instead of engaging, adapting and being intellectually challenged; and these are the things which make games games to begin with (gameplay). GTA4 at least has SOME, not much more to be honest, gameplay thanks to its various objectives and means of achieving them. But to be more honest the game revolves around very simple objectives like kill X, go to Y, retrieve Z....all of which involve more transportation than gameplay. When you DO get to the shooting gameplay its very simple and often frustrating and extremely shallow. Mass effect probably has the best gameplay of the 3.

Everybody hates on grand theft auto a year after it is out. Honestly yeah, SA was pretty much crap, and everyone knows Vice City was the best one. But I'm really feelin' good about GTA4, the replay value is just insane on this game. And come on, it's just one of those games you kick back and play aimlessly and mess around with cheats. Mass Effect just looks rickin' fridiculous. It's probably gonna own some souls. Halo 3? It's gonna be fun of course, the SP will be good ONCE, then multiplayer for the rest of your life. Halo 3 will be the worst, if it's anything like the other ones. All will still be good games though.

I understand that, but (currently) the 360 is a much more popular console than the PS3, and regardless of multiplat or not, it's still one of the most anticipated titles of the year.

On a side note, I'm placing my vote with Halo 3. Sure it's a decent series, but I think GTA pretty much established 'sandbox' gaming in consoles, and Mass Effect looks awesome and fairly original. Just my opinion though.
