And I didn't like Gran turismo 3-4 or forza 2 so unless Forza makes the game feel more realistic and gets rid of the line while racing, and Gran turismo just needs to add more fun factor.....

Neither, not a big fan of racing games, but the graphics for both games look pretty damn impressive.

I prefer Forza. Thankfully i have a 360 :)

I'm surprised it's as close as it is, I thought the popularity of gran turismo would put it way ahead.

I only got a PS3, might get a 360 next year, but even then Id only get GT5. No sense in paying for the same thing twice.

yes I know, but they need to take it out it makes the game unrealistic, I hate games what Call them self a racing sim then put training wheels on it

That makes no sence...don't use it then..How does it change the experience for YOU?

Taken from an interview with T10 concerning the rewind feature..(it can be applied to any of the "training wheels")

At E3 it seemed like you could rewind the race as far back as you wanted. Is that how it's going to be in the final game?

DG: Absolutely. That's what it comes down to. I've got the perspective having worked in racing games. I've heard people, and I know it's going to be the same thing that happened when restart race [was introduced]. I'm going to get people that say, "No, it's not hardcore enough, punish me more." Really what they're trying to say is, punish everyone else - not me, because I'm a really good racer, and I feel like if I don't have everyone else being punished, I'm not proving that I'm great.

Well guess what: great racers are still gonna win. Rewind race doesn't make you any better. It doesn't make you any faster. It doesn't make you any smarter. All it does is give you a proportional response to your mistake. You've been racing for 40 minutes, you have a mistake, all the AI pass you. [Normally], what do you do? You hit restart race, maybe. You turn off the console, probably. You go to bed for the night. You throw a controller, potentially. What is a proportional response to that five-second mistake you just made? I should take five seconds from you; you have to hit the [rewind button], it takes five seconds. That is a proportional response.

I'll probably get GT5 later though if they release around the same time....also man the poll is even right now, this is some good stuff.

Ill definately be getting GT5 but if I ever manage to beat it I will probably get Forza as well. They are both great series (really enjoyed forza 2) but I'm more used to Gran Turismo.

I will be getting GT only, but thats because I only have a PS3. There is no incentive to own both consoles for me personally. I'm sure they both will be great games however.
